My self-summary
Traveling. I travel a lot with my job, so I'm not always around so it might take a little time to arrange something. But it'll be worth it because I'm fun and hilarious. And a keeper...like trapper.

I like to make (things, a difference, out, a fool of myself, moves, believe, love, mistakes, dinner, friends, some NOIIIIIIISE!)

I play hockey. My nickname back in high school was the oriental express. It's totally racist, but it made me feel like a badass.

I love puns but it's hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally. Feel free to steal this joke. A steak pun is a rare medium well done. Poop is a shitty palindrome. (None of these are original, except for the stealing part. Just punappreciated.)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm making films, art, acting, cooking and traveling.
I’m really good at
Getting off the beaten path when traveling. I really enjoy the authentic experience when exploring a new country. The food, people and culture. I had the best time recently in Thailand when I HAD to use google translate because there was no English menu. Since google translate is terrible, there were a lot of hand gestures, pointing, and laughing. In case you were wondering, the meal was amazing.

Cooking. It's the best art because you eat it, use all of your senses and it brings people together. Oh, and it pairs well with drinking.

Working with my hands. I have tools, saws, and drills. The world around me is always malleable.

Oyster happy hours.

Dancing - see most private thing I'm willing to admit section.
The first things people usually notice about me
My big ass smile. Then my freckles. Yes, I am Asian with freckles. I also have a fro if I leave my hair long. Don't box me in because I will break down that box and recycle it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food (the most important): I cook anything I enjoy, but spicy Sichuan Chinese food is my specialty. I also make sashimi/sushi. I live and breathe the experience of good food and I hope you're able to handle spicy. And Oysters.

Léon: The Professional - Beautiful love story. Natalie Portman is amazing.
Terminator 2 - Time travel, machines, liquid metal, the fate of mankind.
The Place Beyond the Pines - A movie about how our actions today echo in the lives of the next generations.
Others: Lost in Translation, Another Earth, True Romance, Dumb and Dumber

The Wire, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Archer (Phrasing!), House of Cards, Black Mirror, Battlestar Galactica

Calvin and Hobbes - makes any bad day bearable
Currently reading: Ted Chiang's Story of Your Life and Others. Read the short story - Story of Your Life. Amazing. Intelligent, Sci-Fi. The film Arrival is based on the story, although the film doesn't do it justice. It never does.

Music: Funk, Hip- Hop (I used to be a B-Boy), electronic, downtempo, Rage Against the Machine (before a hockey game), Amy Winehouse. My favorite song to Karaoke: Baby Come Back - Player

Podcasts: Ted Radio Hour, Reply All, Invisibilia, This American Life, Radiolab
Six things I could never do without
The ocean
Travelling (Usually solo)

Six ain't nuthin' but a number.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why is it that we just don't pass through things. Because we're made of atoms and those atoms are 99.999999999999% empty space. Duh, I know it's because of the charge of electrons but it's still cool to think about.

Time Travel.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to be a window dancer.

You like dive bars and diners. Your ambitions are high and your jokes are in the gutter. You have as much fun dressed up as you do dressed down. You like to get lost in your travels, books, and thought. You're curious about the world and you just want to have a good time.
