I love trying out restaurants, I like going out but I’m not into crowded bars or loud clubs. Give me a nice lounge, wine bar, neighborhood joint with good music and I’m happy. Each day in New York can be a new adventure. There's always something fun to do, from Broadway shows to street festivals to museum exhibits. On a lazy Sunday, my favorite activity to do is sit in Central Park with a good book and people watch.
I enjoy somewhat of an active lifestyle. I go to the gym regularly and on weekends, I love to run in Central Park. When the weather is nice, I love going hiking followed by a good barbecue. I'm also a marathon runner, so training takes up a big chunk of my time. I ran the NYC marathon last year, LA this spring and going for NYC marathon again this November along with Philadelphia and Houston. I'm also looking to do the NYC Triathlon next year.
I like to travel out of the country at least once a year. There are lots of places in the world I would still love to visit. My most recent trip was to Prague and Budapest in May.
If you're laid back and the kind of person who finds the fun in even the everyday things, drop me a line.
I enjoy reading and belong to several book clubs. I read anything from fiction to memoirs. My favorite book was The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri and I'm currently reading the historical fiction, New York by Edward Rutherford.
I don't watch as many of the new shows, but my current favorite TV shows are Downton Abby and Mad Men while it aired. Reality TV is my guilty pleasure!
