My self-summary
This profile is an on-going venture. It will continue to develop and evolve as I reflect on these essays.

I'm intelligent, curious, and always adventurous. I enjoy traveling and new experience. New, different and exciting is my pursuit. I believe in mutual respect, openness and equality in a relationship. I have did the significant other. It had its moment, now I'm looking for friends. I'm semi-retired and looking forward to doing all those things I set aside for family and career.

I am Bright, Fit, and Adventurous
What I’m doing with my life
I do some consultation with a variety of school systems. I taught emotional disabled children for twentyfive years. Primarily I used behavior modification to help the children obtain control of their lives and find educational success. I now consult other states educational facilities on behavior modification programs.
My real passion was the arts. I went to art school before I join the Army and served in VietNam. When I came back I couldn't fine the passion to create art. Since my semi-retirment I have been trying to regain that passion. I sometimes find writing poetry spawns thoughts and ideas for creations I can transfer to the canvas.
I’m really good at
Many things; Educationally, I received a Graduate Assistantship for my post undergrad. studies.
Athletically I played multiple high school sports, after Vietnam I played basketball and baseball for the USArmy in the greater Washington DC arena.
I was a non-commissioned officer and a member of a Military Intelligent Special Operation squad in Viet Nam.
I can draw a straight line (try it sometime).
I can draw and paint portraits (but I'm terrible at clothing, so I don't do clothes) lol .
I can express my thoughts on paper in an interesting matter, sometimes even grammatically correct.
The first things people usually notice about me
The way I carry myself, my walk, my poise, how I look and dress.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Books: "The little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery; "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "The Hobbit" by JRR Tolkien; "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis; "Lord of the Flies" by Wm. Golding; "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey; "The Prophet" by Gibran Khalil; Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom; This list is very incomplete. These are just a few books that have had a special place during my life. Some no more than pleasure, use of imagination, others profound influence on my thoughts and feeling of that time period, most were both.
Movies: "Nightmare Before Christmas", "The Rocky Horror Show", "Arsenic and Old Lace", "North By Northwest", "Saving Private Ryan", "Dirty Dozen", "Glory", "Stagecoach", "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", "Magnificent Seven", "Seven Samurai", "Samurai", "Schindler's List", and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". One "Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is the only movie and book that I equally valued. The movies like the books are never ending.
Music is a later task! There is so much.

Foods, spirits and liquid refreshments: There is no food or drink I will not try. I believe in curiosity and adventure in almost all things regarding my life, none more so than food and drink. Fish and Shellfish prepared in a multitude of ways; Most all veggies, fruit and nuts prepared or raw; Soft cheeses and butters with an abundant assortments of breads; Then there is a variety of honeys and jams; On and on I could go,
need it be said, "I appreciate fine foods".
Drinks and spirits must be for another time.
Six things I could never do without
2.Desire/ Passion
5.Virtue/ Sin.
6.The Senses; seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, smelling.
7.Laughing, crying, living and dying( I kinda like that lyric and seven is a lucky number, RIGHT?)
Then there are those other things: SEX, BEER, and ROCK N' ROLL.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Dining out at a place of choice rather than convenience. Going to movie, theater, piano or jazz bar, a occasional sporting event, something with a theme of entertainment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like new experiences. I fine things that are different far more interesting. I believe adventure helps give purpose to life.
