My self-summary
I'm a pretty laid back guy. I'm not big into clubbing, but going to a bar for a drink and sit down with friends is always fun. I'm big on working out. I am currently training in Hapkido (Korean self-defense) and Parkour (natural traversing techniques from a system out of France), but enjoy pretty much anything physical.

I currently work in a bank, though my untimate goal is to become a professional stuntman. I'm hoping that I'll be ready by early 2009 to start a career in the stunt industry after getting training with the United Stuntman's Association.

I am Strong, Caring, and Random
What I’m doing with my life
Working, Training, and trying to enjoy myself along the way.
I’m really good at
Cooking, Martial Arts, Listening, Being Patient, Helping Friends, Making a complete and utter fool out of myself, and Surprising People.

I'm sure that there are more, but these are probably my biggest stand out traits.
The first things people usually notice about me
Really, you'd have to see what you notice first, because I'd just be guessing here.

But as I would guess, I would probably say the fact that I am a fairly large build (broad shoulders and barrel chested), and the fact that I'm really quiet and shy around new people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I like anything with good characters and an interesting story (though I wish that I had time to read more). LoTR, Inheritence Trilogy, Dark Jewels Trilogy, Good Omens, Manga (Current favorites are Bleach, Berzerk, and Death Note), Baba, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven etc. Just Finished: American Gods, HP7: Deathly Hallows Currently reading: V for Vendetta

Movies: I like pretty much any kind of movie. But if I had to make a short list: Fist of Legend, Ong Bak, The Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, V for Vendetta, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Get Shorty, Hudson Hawk, Legend of Drunken Master Accepted, Robin Hood: Men in Tights (Anything Mel Brooks for that matter), Boondock Saints, Spirited Away (Just about anything that Miyazaki has made really), Hoodwinked, Invincible ... so many more...ok maybe it wasn't really a short list.

Watching movies has always been one of my favorite relaxation passtimes. Nothing is as relaxing as curling up on the couch and watching a good movie. Except maybe curling up with someone on the couch and watching a good movie.

TV: (since most people add this in) I'm not huge on watching TV. Every once in a while I find a show that I really like, but I never watch it when it's supposed to be on, I either find an internet broadcast of it, or rent the dvd of the season. A few that I like are: Heroes, Firefly, M*A*S*H*, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai Champloo

Music: I'll listen to about everything. I was raised on Jimmy Buffett, but you'll find everything from Bloodhound Gang and Outkast to Elvis Costello and Brandi Carlile on my iPod. Mix in a little Rage, System of a Down, and Weird Al Yankovich and you'll have a pretty good idea of how eclectic my tastes can be. I've recently discovered Regina Spektor and am amazed by her voice.

Food: I love trying new foods. Spicy, sweet, sour, bitter. It's all good. Well, most of it, you can't make everything edible. Sushi is definitely one of my favorites. A little wasabi, soy sauce and ginger, and it's a small slab of heaven on top of rice. When I get the time I like to cook, my favorites to make are steamed Baos and Peanut Chicken over rice.
Six things I could never do without
In no particular order:

1. Martial Arts, Food (Lots of it, and in all different flavors), Friends/Family, Entertainment (anything with flashing lights will probably captivate me for hours), Air (I like breathing, and my doctor says that I don't get enough of it...seriously), Pants (I like pants)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Getting off of work, it's not bad, but I do it to afford to do what I want.

Meeting up with friends, whether it be online or at someone's apartment, hanging out should be a staple of everyone's life.

Nothing, I have the strange ability to completely space out with nothing on my mind without a moment's notice.
On a typical Friday night I am
I really can't say that I have "typical" Friday nights. Like most people, I'm usually just looking for people to hang out with, and spending it as alone time.

Lately it's been a lot more alone time or time with my kitties, because we all know how demanding kitties can be about getting their fare share of time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a degree in Math and I don't plan on using it....If I can help it.

I'm geekier than I appear, but I keep it in check...most of the time

I don't own a car, and I prefer it that way. (Bus and Flexcar can go a long ways)
You should message me if
If you can think of a good reason to message me. Actually it doesn't even need to be a good reason...now that I think about it, why should you even have a reason? If you have a will or want to message me, go ahead.

Don't let the match% be your guide, because I'm never really sure if what I say I want is what I really want.

I'm not totally sure about the IM thing on this site. Sometimes it works, but a lot of times it doesn't. So IM if you want to try, but don't be surprised if I don't get it. Sending a message is probably much more effective.
