My self-summary
I'm a grad student at Cal, studying atmospheric physics. I spend my time thinking about the cyclones spiraling about Antarctica over the southern ocean. When I get stuck in my research, I stare at this...

I grew up in Sebastopol and Cape Town, and moved to the Berkeley about a year ago for school. Outside of school, I spend my time practicing aerial silks, capoeira, and acroyoga.

I love music. I learned classical violin growing up, and took up accordion and claw-hammer banjo in college... accordion because I joined a klezmer band, and banjo because my accordion teacher showed up to our lesson one day with a banjo.
