My self-summary
I'm rather new to this whole experience I guess, and I'm probably horrible at it, but here goes:

I'm a rather laid-back individual, I appreciate art in all its forms, I'm the front man of a band(local), I'm an intellectual, and by that, I probably mean I'm a nerd, which I certainly am.

Perhaps the one thing that, depending on circumstances, may or may not be blatantly evident, is that I'm one hell of a hopeless romantic. Despite all my cynical/sarcastic/cruel comments, and my facial expressions of apathy/anger/annoyance, I'm a very kind-hearted, patient, and understanding person underneath it all.

I have an incredible knack for being socially awkward as well. However, I'm also capable of speaking/typing in complete, coherent sentences. Most of the time anyway. You'd be surprised how challenging it is to find that last one.

I'm told I'm a good listener, therefore I usually end up being a "sounding board" for people so to speak, which honestly, I don't mind too much, but I enjoy stimulating, intellectual conversation equally as much if not, more so.

I suppose it would be nice to find someone that doesn't mind listening to me rant on occasion, though too. Makes for good conversation to have a good back and forth like that I feel if nothing else right?
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a musician as well as a former IT student, but just changed my degree to Criminal Justice Tech, since I determined I'd like to actually have a higher potential for work as well as do something worthwhile once out of school. Though time has shown that I appear to have quite a talent with electronics in general as well as music, I'm equally ambitious about both.
I’m really good at
music, writing, reading, video games, various technological troubleshooting/repair, and insane amounts of media references
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my long hair

...or asking what did they do to cause me to look so irritated all of a sudden? I'm quite good at keeping people away when I want
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Far too much to list here probably, but lets give it a try and hope I don't hit the barrier for character maximum:

Books: Big fan of Stephen King, Hunter S. Thompson, Terry Pratchett overall. Currently working my way through the Star Wars timeline as well. I'm always open to suggestions from others of new stuff to read though.

Movies: Way too many to name entirely, but near the top of my lists: Star Wars, The Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Back to the Future trilogy, Ghostbusters, pretty much anything the Apatow crew produces, etc.

Shows: The Colbert Report, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Breaking Bad, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Family Guy, American Dad, Bob's Burgers, Arrested Development, and documentaries as of the last several years. Especially the ones that get a little out there like Ancient Aliens. If nothing else, it makes for humorous watching because that guy with the Tim Burton hair known as Georgio on there never ceases to disappoint in that regard. Serious ones are good too. I imagine if I could choose the channels that came with my cable service, H2(History Channel 2) would be mandatory as it appears the original History channel has gone the way of MTV and has anything but what the name suggests it should on there nowadays.

Music: Goo Goo Dolls, Silverchair, Nirvana, Green Day, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, Abandoned Pools, Semisonic, Breaking Benjamin, Third Eye Blind, Neutral Milk Hotel, At The Drive In, Boston, The White Stripes, The Smashing Pumpkins, Audioslave, Lit, Flogging Molly, Tool, Bush, A Perfect Circle, Filter, Asylum, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Mars Volta, Cradle of Filth, Disillusion, Dark Tranquillity, Dimmu Borgir, Kataklysm, Switchblade Symphony, The Violent Femmes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soul Asylum, Mother Love Bone, The Cranberries, Incubus, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Switchfoot, R.E.M., Goldfinger, Mumford and Sons, Fun., Kings of Leon, Seether, the list goes on from there.....

Food: I eat pretty much anything. Food is something I'm not even remotely picky about probably 99% of the time
Six things I could never do without
1. Music
2. Technology in general
3. Books
4. White Russians (the drink)
5. Food
6. Sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why aren't there enough hours in the day for me to have time to myself? And while we're on the subject, for a loner from a family of loners, why the fuck am I thinking about being at home eating and watching something instead of whatever the hell I'm doing at the moment?! Shouldn't it be the other way around? In short, all kinds of things
On a typical Friday night I am
Either at home working on a project for school, going out occasionally, or just hanging out at home recovering from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ha! Nice try. If it's the most private thing, and I'm absent minded enough to put it here, it's not exactly private anymore is it?
You should message me if
you're interested and you want to?

Really at this point, based on track record so far, I'd find it more of a curiosity if someone were to message me at all on here, so have at it.
