My self-summary
Too busy for the next while. Working on a project that's consuming all my extra time so my ability in meeting anyone is limited. :( That's why I removed my pictures.
The mustache and beard are just temporary. I thought it would be gone soon so I took a picture two weeks ago. Probably first and last time for it. A bit of work but all gone now. It did look cool.

I'm mostly pretty laid back. Kind of go with the flow. Although I have fought for things I believe in. I can be quite passionate.

I try to keep myself in reasonable shape. Exercise is important to me. I try to keep healthy.

I like to be creative. I have an interest in how things are made. I like the Arts but it only plays a small part in my life. Mainly something interesting to take in.

I have been called an emotional "CareGiver" and that surprised me. I mentioned this to a close friend and she said it was true. It might just be a phase that I'm going through though.

I'm not the life of the party guy. I don't need (or want) to be the center of attention. I tend to take a more supporting role.
What I’m doing with my life
Off and on I had been trying to help people deal with the effects of past life events. Offer support when I can. I have cut back on this even though it is important to me. There is so much I wish I could do but never enough time.

I design non-sexy electronic products (no iPad) to pay the bills. It's challenging and creative, and I like it. I'm thinking of retiring soon but I'm not there yet. I'm looking forward to exploring all the interests I have.
I’m really good at
As I said above, I design electronics for a living. I think I am pretty good at it. While I hate the term "thinking outside the box" it does apply to me. I think it is necessary if you need to come up with creative solutions.

Compassion and sensitivity. Sometimes more than I would like. Ow. I have been told that I communicate very well, person to person. But I think that really depends on the subject.

I'm not sure I should put this here but I doubt many people will see it so it probably doesn't matter. This was part of a message I got from someone I write to. (and care about)

"I cried reading the last message you sent. You have such a beautiful soul if you only knew. You are a very special person. I know you are not much for God but I do thank him for you. Whether you believe it or not I want you to know that God has used you to answer one of my prayers."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Wire "Heartbeat"

Callers - Heartbeat (Wire Cover)

I just heard the cover and I liked it. So I checked out the original. I don't know which I like better. Both have good points.

I don't have a TV. Sure I miss a lot of popular culture but I don't care about that. There is a lot of good things there as well but I lost the habit a long time ago. I would prefer to read a good book.
Six things I could never do without
A sense of humor (even if it is black sometimes)
Tea, I do love coffee though but cut back due to the caffeine.
My bicycle, treadmill in the winter a love hate thing.
The Internet. So much available information.
My tropical plants, at home and at work, they make my environment more liveable.
A good book(s)

(yeah I know that is seven, I don't like rules)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mainly whatever I am doing at the time. But when I'm doing something that doesn't require concentration then I think of the people in my life. Or another project I would like to do.

Wondering why I get most of my profile views by women who are about 30 years of age. (OK maybe not a lot of time thinking about it)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
OK I didn't want to admit this but I am in a sharing mood right now. I know that this is pretty embarrassing. I hate to admit it publicly. I'm sure most guys would not admit to this. Maybe none here at all.

OK here it goes. I have two sewing machines. I know, I know. Shocking!

A Kenmore Ultra Stitch Six and a 10 Stitch. But sadly I have not used them yet. They did not come with the foot pedal so I have no speed control. I'm designing a special type but I'm not done. Just one more project that is waiting. But I hope to get back to it soon. I ended up picking up a foot pedal for a different model and I made an adapter for the power cable. I now am able to use these machines. I now have to learn how to sew.

What? You think I would say real private things here? Actually I said a number of things already that I consider to be pretty personal. But if you want to know more then we have to meet in person for that.

Oh. I also have a lathe and a milling machine. Balance is important.
You should message me if
