In past relationships the main point of contention has been that I do not compromise my nerdy hobbies. I need to be connected to the Matrix on a regular basis, reality just doesn't do it for me most the time.
I sit around in pajama pants and oversized t-shirts playing video games (PC). Decided to use my humble bundle key for FFXIV so right now playing a lot of that, but I play most anything (my hard drive is filled with many many games). I also do other nerd things, and sometimes maybe even not-nerdy things.
I also sometimes go to work because rent and food cost this thing called money. I try to do this as little as possible. My work (military, non-killy part) has a lot of bureaucracy, public speaking and more bosses than Initech.
Overusing parentheses and ellipses.
Accidentally pissing people off.
My cat is the most important thing in the world to me though. Most the humans I cared about are now dead or otherwise gone from my life.
Why people are so blinded by their biases.
You have a good suggestion of an obscure yet awesome piece of entertainment I may have somehow overlooked. (TV show, anime, video game, etc. I consume tons of content and am always on the hunt for more. )
You want to yell at me for looking at your profile and not messaging you.
If there isn't something outwardly nerdy on your profile, I will likely not message you first, but I respond to everyone who engages.
