My self-summary
I spend more time online than off, and I am looking to meet someone who is either the same way or at least cool with someone who is. I have three games, anime on VLC, and 20 web windows open as I write this, this is not an uncommon thing.

In past relationships the main point of contention has been that I do not compromise my nerdy hobbies. I need to be connected to the Matrix on a regular basis, reality just doesn't do it for me most the time.
What I’m doing with my life
I am an avid indoorsman.

I sit around in pajama pants and oversized t-shirts playing video games (PC). Decided to use my humble bundle key for FFXIV so right now playing a lot of that, but I play most anything (my hard drive is filled with many many games). I also do other nerd things, and sometimes maybe even not-nerdy things.

I also sometimes go to work because rent and food cost this thing called money. I try to do this as little as possible. My work (military, non-killy part) has a lot of bureaucracy, public speaking and more bosses than Initech.
I’m really good at
Figuring shit out.

Overusing parentheses and ellipses.

Accidentally pissing people off.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I consume media at a disturbing rate, so this list would be too long and tedious to read through, so I'll pick one of each.

God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything.

Pulp Fiction.

Breaking Bad.

Electric Six.

Anime bonus round: Cowboy Bebop.
The six things I could never do without
Humans are highly adaptable, if it isn't needed for survival we can adapt to live without it.

My cat is the most important thing in the world to me though. Most the humans I cared about are now dead or otherwise gone from my life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The paths not chosen and how I would do things with 20/20 hindsight.

Why people are so blinded by their biases.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I find most conversations on these websites to be like pulling teeth. So I'll probably decide it's not worth the effort and go back to playing video games and otherwise avoiding reality if you don't hold up your end of the conversation.

Basically I suck at talking to people, I have to work to motivate myself to send even simple messages sometimes.
You should message me if
You're a nerd.

You have a good suggestion of an obscure yet awesome piece of entertainment I may have somehow overlooked. (TV show, anime, video game, etc. I consume tons of content and am always on the hunt for more. )

You want to yell at me for looking at your profile and not messaging you.

If there isn't something outwardly nerdy on your profile, I will likely not message you first, but I respond to everyone who engages.

I prefer Silicon Valley to Big Bang Theory.

The Magicians to Harry Potter.

Game of Thrones to Lord of the Rings.

Video Games to Tabletop Games.
