My self-summary
I am a laid-back, liberal and funny chick that enjoys hot days and cold drinks. I recently moved to The Heights and spend my time enjoying the company of friends and neighbors and defending the fact that I don't drive.

I don't travel nearly as much as I should, but have sworn to make a valiant effort to explore more.
What I’m doing with my life
Keeping restless natives in line in the banking industry.
I’m really good at
Sarcasm.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have been told that I have a super-contagious laugh, and I laugh often.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I listen to anything acoustic, indie, fun, and new. I love Damien Rice,Sufjan Stevens, Glen Hansard, The Decemberists, The Flaming Lips, Dispatch, Stan Getz, Andrea Boccelli, Ryan Adams, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Tricky, Postal Service, Andrew Bird, Death Cab for Cutie, The Fruit Bats, The Reindeer Section, Stereophonics, Devendra Banhardt, Karate, Frontier Ruckus, Yppah, The Pixies, Bon Iver, Mates of State, Jenny Lewis, and anything Miles Davis.

I love scary movies, documentaries, foreign films, and Mystery Science Theater 3000. I cannot tolerate chick flicks, as I find them ridiculous and nonsensical at best. I love anything Kubrick, Polanski, Wes Anderson or Del Toro, although my favorite movie of all time is Basquiat.

I watch a lot of television, and know that its awful. I have probably seen every episode of Law & Order and CSI that exists, all variations. I love old Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock, too. Especially when its all dark and creepy out. Nothing beats black and white suspense on nights like that!

Palahniuk's "Diary" is on my bedside table, presently. Some other favorites include, but are not limited to "Brave New World", "Slaughterhouse Five", "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", "A Confederacy of Dunces"....and anything Ray Bradbury and Stephen King (well, earlier Stephen King... he's gotten a bit too wordy over the years).
The six things I could never do without
- Law and Order reruns
- My phone
- Friends
- Nestle's Quik (the chocolate kind, of course)
- Water
- Air
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the future has in store and when I am finally going to try out that new Mexican food place a few blocks over.
I also am quite the list-maker... I am constantly making lists in my head of things I need to do, errands I need to run, books I need to read, movies I need to see, and people I need to call.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying cocktails with my amazing group of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've yet to finish Star Wars.
You should message me if
You wear cardigans and like chihuahuas.
