My self-summary
Basically, I’m a happy, intellectually-stimulating person. Leading a healthy life is critically important to me. I’m always looking to expand my inchoate circle of friends. Definitively I’m not cliquish: I love to interact with people from all sorts of backgrounds, beliefs, and lifestyles. Age is just a number to me; no person is too old or too young for me to befriend. About aging, my favorite quote belongs to the late Jorge Luis Borges who once said: “It is not that we stop playing because we grow older; rather, it is we grow older because stop playing.’’ Also, I place far more importance on personality and intelligence than looks. Finally, like so many other persevering souls who have valiantly joined this dating site, I’m still looking for that elusive, especial one.

I am laid-back, introverted, and cerebral
What I’m doing with my life
Apart from my job, I’m working on my first book. Already I’ve penned more than three hundred pages. I could be done by the end of this year. In addition, I also write short stories. One of my goals is to publish them either collectively or individually in the not-so-distant-future.
I’m really good at
Learning new things. Discovering new things. Mastering foreign languages. Writing. Rewriting. Editing other people’s work. Making good, interesting conversion. Keeping up to date with new scientific discoveries. At doing more with less at work.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don’t look bookish at all. Most people think I work with my hands. When I wear my hair real short, some people assume I’m with the military.

It varies according to my schedule —or lack of it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m one lousy singer . . . a karaoke bar owner’s worst nightmare.
