My self-summary
Well I just wrote this big long thing from the heart and soul, then somehow immediately deleted it. Boys don't like all that mush anyway right? Long story short- I love my life but I have this feeling that I would love it even more with someone by my side to laugh with, to share ideas, make dumb jokes, people watch, cook, road trip spontaneously, and maybe just maybe do the dishes. I'm kidding you guys, but seriously. I'll never say "better half" because people are [can be] beautiful and whole the way they are but I will say I'm looking for someone to open my eyes to even more happiness. And vice versa. Nothing better than the feeling of making other people happy. Unless they're douche bags. The latter need not apply.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a full time job that I love because I don't have to think about it when I leave. I bought a condo when I was 25 & love the independence. I recently adopted a dachshund/pitbull mix. I don't mind staying home with him, cooking with wine (in my face not in the food) and want to have someone to share that time with. I am quickly getting the hang of cooking but often make more than one person could ever eat.
Now that spring and summer are rapidly approaching I'm looking forward to being outside a lot. Bought myself a new road bike recently and am getting antsy seeing it just sit there. If you are into road biking you sir just got some serious brownie points.
I’m really good at
Reading people. . . being out of college & in "the real world" for 7+ years now I have become much better at people watching. When I was younger I thought that all adults were smart ........ Nnnnope. It is really amazing the things you learn when you really listen instead of waiting until someone is done talking to speak. Not enough listeners in the world these days.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've heard I come off very serious but really I'm just sarcastic. Not in a mean way if you know me ..
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: all the free samples on my kindle.

Tommy Boy
Bad Santa
Reno 911: Miami

Stand up comedy (Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan, Jim Norton)
Pitbulls & parolees
The Office
[Extremely shameful admission: The Bachelor & The Bachelorette]

Paul Simon, TSwift (you know you secretly like her)?Ray Lamontagne, oldies (often I feel like I should have been born in the 60s) I have random taste but always open to new music

Food: trying to be healthy right now so I don't want to talk about it. But love all breakfast foods mmm eggs & bacon.
The six things I could never do without
1. At least 5 pillows in my bed (I like to feel like I'm on a cloud)
2. Sundays
3. Pandora
4. Laughter
5. My dog
6. Friends ...cliche but they are the ones who remind us who we are
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Training for either another half marathon or a half ironman . The only way I can really motivate myself to keep working out regularly is to sign up for different races . It's always a great feeling of accomplishment to finish one.
On a typical Friday night I am
Face down drunk somewhere . I'm messing with you . Either happy hour then home, dinner with a friend, or a night in with my pooch & Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I wear sensible shoes.
You should message me if
you feel like you're picking up what I'm putting down
