My self-summary
Tutor, singer, gamer, lover.

It's been a while since I've updated this. Maybe I'll find some time soon; I keep busy.

Here are some recent recordings from shows I've performed, for those that are interested:

What I’m doing with my life
Here's a quick list of some stuff I'm doing:
- brushing up on my Japanese.
- tutoring statistics (I was awarded a scholarship for tutoring in May!)
- performing with probably too many choirs. It keeps me busy.
- getting myself into better shape
- playing video games (lately just a lot of Overwatch on PC. Sometimes still Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and I'm very much looking forward to Civilization VI.)

In short: I am unabashedly geeky. If you don't have a problem with that, then we'll get along fine.
I’m really good at
Making people happy; I'm an entertainer at heart.

Strategy games. I am among 1.4% of steam users that cleared Deity difficulty in Civilization V prior to the release of the Brave New World expansion which made it a lot easier. On those rare occasions that I have the time to set aside, I always enjoy multiplayer Civ games.

I could probably thrash you in Super Smash Bros. with my favorite character, Ness.

I feel like singing ought to be listed here, but I've already talked a bit about that above.

I'm also the cuddliest guy there ever was.
The first things people usually notice about me
My pointy beard, and if I'm not wearing my Ness hat, then also my crazy curly hair.

Next, probably that I pronounce everything with an absurd degree of clarity.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book is without a doubt The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- the first of the series. I love all of Douglas Adams' other books, too. I also love the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland books and scifi novels. Currently reading a fun book called Year Zero.

My favorite movie is V for Vendetta, followed pretty closely by Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I thought that the new Ghostbusters was basically perfect.

I love opera, symphonic rock, and chiptune. Favorite bands include Nightwish, The OneUps, Queen, The Decemberists, The Noisettes, The Dresden Dolls, Anamanaguchi, and Nightwish. Also, Nightwish. (Did I mention Nightwish?)
Finally, I also love a lot of purely instrumental music, as many of my favorites come from video games. OCRemix kicks ass.

My favorite food is Greek. I also love Italian, Indian, Japanese, Mexican, and Thai. I'll try anything once so long as it's not poisonous.

Lastly, I don't watch much TV, but I really love Adventure Time, Archer, Bob's Burgers, and Futurama.
The six things I could never do without
Music, love, my singing voice, video games, friends, and a good pair of walking shoes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the Universe, and Everything.

More seriously: the music I'm studying at any given point. I listen to it constantly until it becomes the wallpaper of my mind and then I listen to it some more.
On a typical Friday night I am
Any number of things! Seems to change every week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to be a hardcore prude, but I'm an open book these days. Ask me anything.
You should message me if
You play an instrument on which you could accompany me while I sing. We'll get invited to every party.

You'd be interested in entering Smash 4 doubles tournaments with me.

You have an appreciation for classical music and video games.

You are otherwise inclined.

You hit the Like button. I'm not paying for the A-List, so please go ahead and say hello to make yourself known to me.
