My self-summary
All devil as I am -- a damned wretch,
A hardened, stubborn, unrepenting villain,
Still my heart melts at human wretchedness;
And with sincere but unavailing sighs
I view the helpless children of distress:
With tears indignant I behold the oppressor
Rejoicing in the honest man's destruction,
Whose unsubmitting heart was all his crime.--
Ev'n you, ye hapless crew! I pity you;
Ye, whom the seeming good think sin to pity;
Ye poor, despised, abandoned vagabonds,
Whom Vice, as usual, has turn'd o'er to ruin.
Oh! but for friends and interposing Heaven,
I had been driven forth like you forlorn,
The most detested, worthless wretch among you!
O injured God! Thy goodness has endow'd me
With talents passing most of my compeers,
Which I in just proportion have abused--
As far surpassing other common villains
As Thou in natural parts has given me more.
~~ Robert Burns

Religion... hmmm... Kashmiri Shaivic with Zen tendencies and a healthy dose of Solipism. They don't seem to have that in the profile selections.

I am literary, dominant, and affectionate
What I’m doing with my life
I have a great job, some good friends, and good kids, now grown and off to college.

I am the head of a polyamorous, leather family, based on Integrity, Loyalty, Honor and Respect.
I’m really good at
upsetting the balance of the universe. Or so it seems.
The first things people usually notice about me
The only thing most mention is my Blue eyes. The rest are too polite...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A good glass, a good lass, a good ship, and a star to sail her by.

I love Ren Faires in general, and Scarborough Faire in particular. If you ever make it out, stop by and say hi to me at Ravensburg Chainmaiile!

World of Warcraft: Server: Silvermoon

Music: Can't find anything to settle on recently. Any suggestions?

You can't spell crap without rap. Other than that, everything from Pink to Hinder to Daughtry to Meatloaf to Bach to Celine Dion to Andrea Bocelli to Neil Diamond to ManOWar to October Country to Black Sabbath to Brother to Evanescence to Nickleback to John Denver to Mozart to The Killers to Julia Ecklar to Linkin Park to Blue Man Group to etc....

Movies: The Thomas Crown Affair, The Princes Bride; Plus anything Monty Python or Sci-Fi/Fantasy, some chick flicks, some Horror, some Comedy, nothing stupid.

Television: What's that? Oh...the idiot box. OK, OK, I miss Firefly and Babylon 5, and I can usually be enticed to watch anything sci-fi, anime, or on Discovery Channel, as long as we can cuddle while watching.

The six things I could never do without
Hmmm... six things? I'm not that attached to anything. The platitudes: air, water, food, etc., well, without those I would move to the next step in existence, but I doubt that I would miss them there. In the larger sense of things, I would say intellectual stimulation is probably the one and only thing I must have. Eternity in formless limbo, or worse yet being stuck in front of "prime time programming", would be unendurable.

In the much more narrow sense, of what I would hate to do without: Good books (see above), good alcohol, interesting food, Internet access, and indoor plumbing. Also, I loathe sleeping alone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why people are so selfish and despairing over it.

My future harem of beautiful women who all believe in my Solipsism. Hey... I don't really want a pony.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either home playing WoW, or out with someone, or several someones, or wishing I was out with someone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
"I will seriously commit to your shot of espresso."

I sometimes travel without my towel.

Han shot first, dammit!
You should message me if
If you score high on this test.

I don't do exclusive, or secret, relationships. I'm polyamorous, but not fanatic about it. [I'm not really looking for someone new to sleep with] I really enjoy dating. I like taking a fun lady to a nice dinner or night on the town. Or even better, an evening on the couch cuddled up and watching movies. I have fantasies about introducing you to my favorite movies, and re-discovering them through your eyes, watching your favorites that I somehow missed, and re-watching movies that we both love over, but for the first time together. Good conversation and a relaxed enjoyable time are what I enjoy.

If you are in the North Dallas, North Garland, Richardson area, and want to be taken out for a nice date, or are just feeling lonely, drop me a line.

If you live further than that, say hi. I regularly travel around the Denton to Fort Worth to Burleson to Arlington to Corsicana to Athens to Greenville to McKinney to Lewisville to Denton area. But I've also been known to drive to Houston, Santa Fe, and Shreveport to spend time with someone interesting. Longer trips just take slightly more planning. ;-)
