My self-summary
Confident and fun. I've been in the Bay Area for about 4 years, and I think SF is amazing. Maybe the best city on Earth. Maybe.

I'm an avid consumer of books and ideas. I love to cook, but I don't do it nearly enough.

Intelligence and playfulness are big turn-ons for me.

[Mandatory statement about loving food and traveling]

I run, rock climb, and ski. I like these because they take you interesting places with interesting people.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for a consulting company in internet and web. I travel a lot for work, which is great. It makes my life feel like perpetual vacation, even when I'm pretty busy.

Otherwise I'm trying to exhaust all potential new possibilities for what one can do with weekends and 5 weeks of PTO/year.

In 40 years I want to retire as a ski bum in Colorado or British Columbia, but until then I'm enjoying all the cool stuff there is to do in SF.
I’m really good at
Finding a good venue
Getting through an airport
Excel Hotkeys
Flying down a snow-covered hill with sticks strapped to my feet
Making amazing popcorn
Eating said popcorn while cuddling
The first things people usually notice about me
I get told I have great hair a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book: The Wind-up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami
Movie: The Shawshank Redemption and Gladiator
Music: proper house music and jazz, or anything else positive
Food: Sushi and anything I've cooked myself
The six things I could never do without
My E-reader
The ocean
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Wouldn't it be awesome if ___________."
Clever social media posts
"I should probably get some work done now"
"I could totally ski down this"
The nature of the universe
On a typical Friday night I am
Saving orphaned children from burning buildings.

Then I drink Dos Equis.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
On a first date in high school once, when I went to pick up a girl at her house, her dad answered the door wielding a rifle in hand. It scared the life out of me at the time. In retrospect, I think it's a hilarious idea.

You know to use a semi-colon. That's not an innuendo.
