My self-summary
Hi all I'm Alex. The most important thing to know about me, is that I'm very laid back and easy going person. I rarely feel insulted, I rarely get angry, I rarely argue, and I very rarely worry about things unless it is something quite life changing.

I consider myself a very genuine person, who's very open and honest. You always know where you stand with me. I'm also kind and caring, and spend so much time helping others that I often forget to take care of my own needs.

I'm a huge geek. Although I've slowed down on computer gaming, I'm now more a social gamer who prefers a good old co-op game with friends. I love Marvel/DC comic films (I was like a hyper child at seeing The Avengers). I love all Sci-Fi. And I love fantasy stuff like Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones. Dragons, Magic, all good :)

Oh, and my number one passion is cars. Seriously, its a healthy obsession :D
What I’m doing with my life
As of mid-June I've been unemployed. Furiously searching for another job, but sadly employers are being fussy buggers at the moment. Also working on developing a website with a friend, which should bring in some extra monies once its (finally) finished.
I’m really good at
Being there for people when they need help, or just a shoulder to cry on. Always treat others how you wish to be treated.

I'm also a good driver, according to the Training Manager for Mercedes-Benz UK who is also a part-time racing driver. I was very pleased with that compliment.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm a very cheerful, fun person. Even if I rolled out the wrong side of bed in the morning, I keep smiling and cracking jokes. Myself and my brothers are very "blunt" with our humour. My mum has got used to it, but others sometimes put their hands in their heads or go "ooooh" while trying not to guilty laugh...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Films: Anything Marvel/DC. Lord of the Rings. Transporter. Star Wars. The Fast and the Furious. James Bond. Pirates of the Caribbean. The Matrix. Taken. Rush Hour. Star Trek.

TV: Game of Thrones. NCIS: Los Angeles. 24. Have I Got News For You. Frasier. Big Bang Theory. Would I Lie To You?. Top Gear. (I don't watch a huge amount of TV to be honest)

Food: Pretty unfussy. Love all meats. Dislike seafood. Spaghetti Bolognese. Shepherds Pie. Chinese food. Favourite restaurants are Harvester (salad bar) and TGI Fridays.

Music: Mostly all rock, classic rock and heavy rock. However I listen to other genres provided it's not pop, rap, or R&B.

Computer games: Borderlands. Resident Evil. Need For Speed. Pokemon. Rock Band. Guitar Hero. I avoid Call of Duty like the plague.
Six things I could never do without
My car: I adore driving, and often drive for fun without a destination. Plus without it, I feel caged in my town.

My computer: We have dodgy Internet, and if it goes down, I feel like I've lost a leg. I don't know what to do with myself.

Music: I listen to it at home. Listen to it in my car. I even listened to it at work. It's too quiet and dull without it.

My family: Never a dull moment with that weird lot I'm related to. But love them to bits, and I'm getting closer to my brothers all the time.

My friends: I don't have a large circle of friends, rather a small circle of incredibly close friends I've known for at least a decade. My mum has even given two friends a key to our house.

My phone: It went back to Vodafone for repairs recently, my life was suddenly empty.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
A lottery win. Especially while I'm now unemployed.

Cars. Always thinking about cars.

What I want as a career. Desperate to find something that pays ok, and I find interesting and enjoyable.

My website.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling at home with mates. Not too much of a pub/bar person (generally prefer to go when its quiet), and definitely not a clubber. I dont dance, and the loud music makes conversation futile haha. Would rather a large group of mates come over for drinks, games, etc :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once defeated a large bear in hand to hand combat.

I've stolen two traffic cones.

My one and only celebrity crush is Tom Daley.
You should message me if
You're not a shallow person, and don't mind a guy who's currently overweight but looking to get into some sports to slim down.

If you're a guy who loves computer games but also likes a social life.

If you're a guy who can discuss nerdy things with me like the ending of Battlestar Galactica, the plot of Game of Thrones so far, why Ash Ketchum is the worlds shittest pokemon trainer, and which superhero is best.
The two of us
