My self-summary
I'm a crafty old veteran. I am always at the festival. It's just another temporary autonomous zone TAZ to me. I am emai-social-networking-this-junk savvy. I do the burning man thing in Texas perennially and that's a habit I picked up from staying abreast in such matters as ntxb, Flipside, and most importantly Myschievia. I dock in Denton but travel all over the continental United States. I have been coast to coast in the last few months. Some think I am a performance artist, some think I am a politician, musician, or deep thinker. Some people think I am a jerk, an asshole, a prick, and sadly even a douche; while others think I am great, crucial, intelligent, and a Cynic in the true and originary meaning of that term. I not certain what of these things are true. In summation, I am myself.

I am magnanimous, irascible, and patient.
What I’m doing with my life
Looking for work. Good clean honest work. I am researching the market demand for virgin blond hair. Playing games. I assume this means currently. I am projecting myself into Okcupid in an attempt to meet women. In about a year I'm going to law school so the party will have to end. I feel bad about my really lame writing sample on the LSAT though. If only I could have typed it into Myspace account blog.
I’m really good at
Talking shit, smoking, hanging out, finding shit to do at night, drinking, going to bars, talking about shit, watching tv, screaming my voice horse, reading, writing, not this though. Ranting, arguing, figuring out legal loopholes, and listening to things that may not make sense at first until I got a handle on them. I have a high tolerance for disorganization but secretly crave structure. I think I corrupt any organization with an unsettling chaos. I'm good at honesty, brutal fucking honesty (so my colleagues think, still brutal). Laughing at things a lot of people might not laugh at. Political analysis and talking to people well versed in philosophy. A lot of people aren't so you get in the same conversations like relativism. Damn I hate relativism.
The first things people usually notice about me
My har, got some texas har. Wildness. Gravely wrestler voice (less of this lately though).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I wrote a lot of this stuff a long time ago but lately have really been enamored with That Mitchell and Webb Look.

Homo Sacer: Sovereign Power and Bare Life. 1998.

The Wrestler, City of Violence, Versus, The Dark Knight, City of God, City of Men, King of New York, New Jack City, Sin City, Dark City, Caligula, Blue Velvet, Apocolypse Now, Natural Born Killers, House of 1000 Corpses, Burn After Reading (instant classic).

Breakfest food, eggs over easy on bread, pasta, steak, pork, mexican, peruvian, tex-mex, oaxacan, southwestern, southern, cajun, atkins. I am a decent cook at certain things, I probably make stuff too greasy though.

Music: Guns N' Roses, Johnny Cash, Journey, Metalica, Brittney Spears, Jesus Lizard, Walon Jennings, Electric Six (probably my favorite), Peaches (super impressed with recent live show), Nirvana, Rolling Stones (I don't listen to much Beatles anymore), the music my friends make which is either punk, harsh industrial experimental noise, space rock, or some weird form of folk or country. A lot of local music for Denton, Texas. Pretty much anybody that destroys their instruments during a set. Nine Inch Nails, Saul Williams, Roy Orbason, Wu-Tang Clan, Beck, Outkast, Flamming Lips, Peaches, and to be continued...
Six things I could never do without
1. Booze.
2. Meat.
3. Women.
4. Air
5. Water.
6. Friends

Honestly all I need is air and food, food isn't in on the list, so I guess that's a lie, but I would also like booze. Seriously, I should drink more water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Articulating structures of existence in various possible configurations within the depth sphere imagined beyond all reductions to mere objects for thought so that thinking may transform the necessary into the contingent, the relationship between potential and actuality, concentration camps, prisons, judicial reasoning, the expectation of privacy, the correct enforcement of the 1st amendment in a generally broad and open application, Liberalism and its criticisms (and no I don't mean liberalism as opposed to conservatism because both are trends in Liberalism and if you don't know that the terms the left and the right are modeled on a French Parliment back in some period), Guantanamo Bay, and deinstitutionalizing all people.

Really, it's whatever is in front of me. I think I am stuck on that existential phenomenology.

Also I think about pop culture, sports, television production, and food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting drunk with friends and looking for something to get into like music or some celebration. Perhaps something else. There's time for everything, you just have to make a choice. I generally participate in the central organization of a lot of house parties/shows. First one to get there and last to leave. Doesn't leave a lot of room for eros, but plenty of philos and ludus.

What's so special about Friday? Since people generally work m-f 9-5 Friday night is an affinity point for congregating. I love congregating but I would also like just chilling with someone special no matter what time it was.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think I am going to go with the ask me and I'll tell you answer because that is both true and reasonable on a public website.
You should message me if
If you are looking for someone looking for someone to spend time with. I usually go out and do stuff, but nice and boring is just fine by me. You ever see the Futurama where the Slurm mascot takes his sunglasses off to reveal his bloodshot and says he is so tired and "parties" until the cave falls in? Yeah.......
