My self-summary
I can be shy around new people, and the time it takes me to come out of my shell depends on the atmosphere. If I'm at a party and don't know anyone there, it may take me a while before i warm over. If I'm comfortable, I can be quite the social person.

I have my B.S. in Chemistry from MSU, and actually have a job in my field, woah.

I am caring, quirky, and loveable.

I dgaf about motorcycles.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, wishing I had time to fence, Video games and reading. Spending too much time on my computer or phone.
I’m really good at
I'm a pretty good fencer; I was on the men's Épée travel team. I am also the king of puns, it's pretty bad. I also cook my own meals, and can put together Ikea furniture
The first things people usually notice about me
I suppose it would be a combination of my glasses, height, somewhat poor posture (I tend to hunch at times), or whatever I may be wearing. I'm not too sure, really. As i mentioned earlier, I can be a bit shy at first meetings, so some people may think I'm really quiet. Unless I'm very outwardly jubilant, I usually have a pretty neutral facial expression, (resting bitch face). So I try to express my calm neutrality with my eyebrows and/or a slight smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I recently marathoned all of the original friday the 13th movies. For my thoughts, please inquire within.

I've been a fan of anime for a while, but started watching more lately. I haven't seen a ton, including a lot of classics, so be warned I probably will not have seen your favorite. Unless it's Jojo.

I've been reading a bunch of Lovecraft as of late. Hit me up if you want to discuss chthonic abominations and unknowable horrors from beyond the stars.

I recently finished Frank Herbert's Dune and I now understand all the hype! It started off slow, but after the Harkonnen sabotage I couldn't put it down. I thought the Lynch film adaptation was...fair...Shoot me a message if you'd like to hear my reasoning.

I'm a big Stephen King fan, though I haven't read many of his more recent books. I have a rather large collection of his works, including several first edition hardcovers. I really enjoyed the Dark Tower series, and will most likely re-read it in the future. Insomnia was also another favorite.

As far as movies go, I have a ton of favorites. It will take way too much time to list them, so if you are curious, shoot me a message.

I'm pretty hard to pin down when it comes to musical genres. I'm a big Prince fan, and have most of his work from '78 to '95. I've seen/own/enjoy Purple Rain, Under the Cherry Moon, and Graffiti Bridge. If you aren't so keen on His Royal Badness, worry not, I listen to other stuff too. This includes: Barry White, Bob Dylan, Capsule, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Eagles of Death Metal, Electric Six, Elton John, Flight of the Conchords, Funkadelic, Gwar, Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis & The News, Infected Mushroom, Kraak and Smaak, Kyuss, Massive Attack, Men at Work, Ministry of Sound, Mustard Plug, Nirvana, The Offspring, Oingo Boingo, Parliament, The Police, Polysics, Queens of the Stone Age, Reggie and the Full Effect, Rick Astley, (I'm serious), Royksopp (Melody AM is one of my favorite albums of all time, times infinity), The Strokes, Sphongle, Talamasca, The B-52's, Ween, ZZ Top. I use (internet radio) to jam to goa-psy trance and funky house music.

I've been getting more into 80's and 90's hip-hop and rap thanks to XM radio in my car. I also listen to a lot of funk, alt rock, edm, and trance.

This is by no means the end of my musical tastes, so if you would like to know if we both enjoy another musician/group, inquire within...
Six things I could never do without
Best Friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, alternate dimensions, time travel, fencing, the Fourth Dimension, Pokemon, psychic powers/abilities, chemistry, infinity, macro and micro universes, nature, movies, music, and my weird sense of fate/destiny.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching the new Jojo ep, cuz it's finally a friday!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My family has parrots, and I've always wanted a dog. I enjoy cats, but they make me sneeze :(
You should message me if
You like:
-to read
-bear-hugs (I give the best hugs on the planet.)
-Twin Peaks
-watching Netflix in bed
-listening to records on rainy days

Also you may consider doing so if you are looking for an affectionate, funny guy who likes talking about weird stuff like extra-dimensional creatures and can quote large portions of movies.

Not sure what to say? Tell me:
-your favorite episode of the Twilight Zone!
-your favorite Jojo
-if you prefer Freddy or Jason, and why.
