My self-summary
Samuel Beckett (An Irish writer) once wrote......
"I have had some good years, but I wouldn't want them back. Not with the fire burning in me now".
This is a cracker of a quote, which says to me to forget the past because that’s where it belongs and embrace the future with a desire to experience, enjoy and accept whatever life will throw your way. Bring it ON!
Allow me to introduce myself. I am well educated hedonist, financially stable, sane, hilariously funny (hahaha), easy on the eye, love food/wine, have a couple of tatts, play music, lead a balanced lifestyle and I enjoy the occasional pancake for breakfast (*picks up fork from the left*). I own a couple of businesses in the hospitality industry so I am well acquainted with the finer and more traditional things in life.
I was born in Ireland... a land that boasts of saints and scholars ..... and at least one sinner!!
I am a typical scorpio - inquisitive, creative, determined, emotional, loyal, open, horny, patient until provoked and never dull!
I am VERY happy with myself and proud of what I have achieved, however I am always eager to learn more and willing educate others.
I believe that the journey from the cradle to the grave should be filled with laughter, conversation, unbridled pleasure, music, good food and wine and the company of friends!
I am an optimist and I have a tendency to see the best in people.
From my perspective my best features would have be my eyes, ass and infectious personality. Oh and modesty!
I don't tug the forelock to anybody nor do I indulge political correctness.
I wouldn't consider “vanilla” to be a favourite flavour! Hmmm cryptic for some!
I'm not "average" and I don't profess to be the best, but I will always dive in the deep end and give it my best shot.
I realize that I may not be within the age ranges that are specified on many profiles, but ask yourself this question…. If you required a complicated life saving operation, would you opt for the newly qualified younger doctor or the older more experienced surgeon? I'm guessing you would pick the surgeon to ensure success! Now, all of a sudden age is unimportant and experience suits your needs! Besides, why let a number spoil your happiness?
It would appear that you have got this far without throwing up and it would seem like an awful waste of your time if you didn't message me. After all you DO want to meet somebody interesting. Right?
If you want to know any more, well you know what to do.
If you don't, why didn't you give up a few lines ago? hahaha
What I’m doing with my life
Attempting to squeeze in a social life!
I’m really good at
Flipping pancakes
The first things people usually notice about me
A slight (yeah right) accent perhaps! My clothes!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Dont read as much as I possibly should - maybe one day!
I watch movies to veg out couldn't even tell you the title the following day! Complete escapism.
Shows? Hmmm i'll get back to you on that one.
Music? Death metal is shite! Everything else has degrees of tolerance and reactions - ranging from a hum along to losing myself. I am also a session musician and recorded artist.
I'll eat just about anything - don't necessarily like everything but I won't grumble!
Six things I could never do without
Six more things!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
whatever occupies that particularly gorgeous space in my head!
On a typical Friday night I am
Out dining or drinking with friends! A social event! Or at home on the couch recovering from thursday night!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Depending on how tired I am, I can suffer from dyscalculia! 96 anyone?
You should message me if
