My self-summary
Chasing the American dream. Working as hard as possible, using every resource I have with every ounce of energy I got; and maybe pulling it off with a little charm... Having as much fun as I know how by going outdoors. Originally from California, I moved to Bozeman, MT for a job and eventually college. Then I came to WA for Boeing. Been in the area a little less than three years. Things are pretty good for me right now.
What I’m doing with my life
I make a living as an engineer in the aerospace industry. I help develop new technologies for aerospace products. its very challenging and rewarding when you find out something new. In my free time I get outdoors to have some fun, see new things and get some clarity.

One cool thing I do is 3D printing. It's pretty cool.
I’m really good at
Building things.
3D printing cool things.
Running long distance.
Going long distance on a bike whose frame I made myself. Hasn't broken yet!
Learning new skills, tricks, knowledge.
Making friends with dogs. All dogs like me.
Cooking, learning to.- I recently bought a Julia Childs cookbook. I usually stick with stir fry/ steam cooking or a sandwhich, but sometimes I try.
The first things people usually notice about me
My fully complete marching band that accompanies me wherever I go? My Tesla Model S? Perhaps it's my astronaut lapel pin? Well not exactly... meaning I don't have any of these things.

Recently a guy at a gas station offered to pull the dents out of my Subaru for $250.

I wear a belt with a Star Trek belt buckle. Recently that was commented on.

Yeah, I'm pretty popular.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music- The Polish Ambassador, Led Zeppelin, Tom Waits, Mozart. Lots of other artists.

Books- Right now I'm reading a textbook, Introduction to Flight, to teach myself about airplanes and principles of flight. I'm pretty well read, but my favorite book is probably a toss up between Ender's Game, Dune and Isamov's Foundation Series. And Macbeth. And Moby Dick.

Food- I like anything- Mexican food the best. I also like Pho. Mmm pho.
Six things I could never do without
This is a list of things I like, but I can get by with almost nothing. I just don't need a lot of stuff.

Sketchup software.
Swiss Army knife.
Bicycles. I have three.
A 3D printer.
Kapton tape.
Pulsed Plasma Rifle, 40 Megawatt range.
The phrase, "to the n-th degree".
This Timbuk2 bag I have that is now over a decade old!

And of course, if I had to leave it all behind I'd do it in my Subaru Outback.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Airplanes. What's at the bottom of the ocean. My smallness compared to mountains and the vastness of space. Bike lanes. Solar power. Mass transit. Action-at-a-distance.

What to make next. I do a lot of design and fab at home with a 3D printer. Just getting started but it's a lot of fun.

What I can do to make the world easier for people to be nice in (it). Gotta work on this sentence...
On a typical Friday night I am
I clean my apartment on Friday evenings. Unless I don't.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My first Job was working for a lab at NASA. I always wanted to work for NASA, but my boss totally took advantage of my lack of experience(...). After an argument where I confronted my boss, he fired me. I got fired from NASA. There. I said it. I feel better.

I have an intense fear of garden snails. I can't get near them.
You should message me if
You want to know more about me.
How deep I can skin dive.
How fast I can run a mile.
How high I can jump.
How I will make my first million.
