I've been single a while now and I'll be honest its done me good to have some time to reflect and find a lot of new hobbies. Which means I'm quite busy.
The problem is being busy doing lots of things is great to a point, but, it would be nice to have someone special to come home too, someone to cuddle up to, someone to share some adventures with.
I'm not on here to look for some quick fun, I'm here to broaden my search to find new friends, and who knows maybe I'll find someone who likes me for more than that.
So, if you want a guy who's a bit of a gentleman, who has humility, has compassion, likes a laugh, likes a good hug, can hold down a good conversation, can cook, and is honest and open then please read on.
Climbing, I go to redpoint or tca once a week if I can. I also cycle and run when I feel inclined, but I'm not a super fitness nut, just like to keep active.
Last year I climbed Snowdon (dressed as Gandalf, but that's beside the point) and plan to get out on some more walks/climbs this year.
I like reading, mostly fantasy fiction and recently comic novels. I'm also into gaming of the board variety, settlers of catan and ticket to ride being firm favorites, but I've got an ever expanding bookcase full of games.
I'm just getting into costume and prop making for comic conventions, which I suppose sounds super nerdy, but I enjoy the challenge of making things and the friend's I've made attending the conventions.
Making thing, I'm not ashamed to say I own and know how to use a sewing machine.
Massages, if that's not too bold.
Discworld, Hitchhikers, wheel of time, pretty much anything fantasy fiction with a good plot and maybe a bit of humor. I'm currently re reading ready player one.
Viz, Captain America.
Back to the future (I can probably recite the first film verbatim, which I realise isn't necessarily a good thing) I'll honestly watch pretty much anything, I suppose my genre of choice is sci-fi and fantasy/ action, but I'll happily watch a romantic comedy if that's what your into. It's all give and take tho, I'll watch love actually if you'll watch ironman.
Firefly, spaced, black books, the it crowd, ds9, sg1, fullmetal alchemist, trying game of thrones at the moment. Don't mind most comedians or sitcom shows and classics like friends.
This is hard. I listen to music all the time, but it can vary a lot depending on my mood.
Orbital, chemical brothers, prodigy, Paramore, Bastille, classic fm in the car if I need to be calm, planet rock when I'm cooking.
Music, can't get through the day without it,
The fun times,
My imagination, it can take you anywhere,
Sadly my phone,
If I'm out it'll be in a pub rather than a club, I've got rhythm but my feet haven't so I'm not usually on the dance floor.
