My self-summary
I could give you my whole Jungian personality profile, but then what would we have to talk about? I tend to over think things. From what shampoo to buy to what to write in a little box on a web page no one will probably ever read. Life can't ever be that simple, can it? And while I know where I want to be, I can stand there forever, trying to make a decision and know that it is the right one.

I believe that if you are not going to do a job right, then why are you bothering to do it at all? And because of this, I find that sometimes I'll take on more than I can handle, rather than taking the short cut. But when I get the job done it is far more satisfying knowing that it was done right.
What I’m doing with my life
They should hand out a flyer when you consider community college: "If you're an engineering major, go to your safety school!" No one tells you that you have to work twice as hard when you pick Mechanical Engineering at community college. Wish they would. At least as a warning.

At this point I've transferred to a university and even have a job lined up as an automotive engineer upon graduation. One day I want to design and build race cars, specializing in high performance engines of all kinds. But really, as long as it has wheels, an engine, and goes fast I'll be happy if they'll just let me work on it. I'm hoping to get ASE certified in the next year so that I can be better when working hands on. But until then I just have to work on personal projects, like my friend's '68 corvette.
I’m really good at
My job. I'm also great at keeping a positive attitude, even when things seems really bleak. I like to think that I am good at cooking, but really I have to limit that to everything but chocolate chip cookies. I cook a mean chicken marsala, and even made my own cookie recipe - oatmeal-cranberry-walnut cookies. They are my favorite, and actually are surprisingly good for you too!
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm laughing. You'll be hard-pressed to find me not smiling or joking. There's no point in taking life too seriously. Then its just not fun anymore.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As cheesy as it is, my favorite movie is Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift... I could watch that movie over and over again. I love comedies, but more than that, I love action only for action's sake. When it comes to tv, I tend to watch the worst shows. I realize that secret life of the american teenager is stupid, but its just so entertaining.... I think I got it from watching soap operas with my mom as a child.

Otherwise, I have a fondness for independent films. In my experience, they are better thought out and more original than the blockbuster films put forth by major studios. I love psychological thrillers, The Abominable Dr. Phibes being one of the scariest films I've ever seen, and one of the most under-rated. Vincent Price is genius in all his movies.
The six things I could never do without
cars, books, food, music, someone to talk to, and a comfy bed to sleep in.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. From where I will live, how will I afford it, what furniture I will put in it. Who will I live with, etc. I like to plan. Maybe because you can always change the future, and there's always possibility in what hasn't happened.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home trying out a new recipe. Being done with my degree has afforded me a whole lot of free time that I'm still not quite sure what to do with. Want to help me figure it out?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am the Stig.
You should message me if
You have something to say, or you're genuinely interested in me. I don't really want a hook up or a sexting situation, so don't say I didn't warn you.
