My self-summary
Just a hunk with a heart of gold over here. I'm from the bay and have been in SF for about six years. I had weird feelings towards him at first, but now Karl the Fog and I are good friends.

I'm a freshly minted social justice lawyer focused on helping the poor obtain public benefits. I've worked on a variety of stuff including representation for left leaning activists, my family's business, writing immigration briefs, and general criminal defense; all of which are very meaningful to me.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a sensible man capable of many things including drinking coffee, bicycling to places, feeling feelings, jogging, sometimes even running, yoga poses, exploring music, watching films, going to music shows while bobbing my head and holding a drink, eating at new restaurants, making friends, learning, loving, appreciation of diversity, expression of opinions, so on, so forth, and more.
Stumbling into where I'm most effective as part of an activist force against greed, racism, and sexism in this messed up world.
I’m really good at
Telling stories about awkward situations I've placed myself in.
Fighting the Man -- stay back Comcast.
Reading people.
Beating you at games on my old Nintendo 64.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that Balki from Perfect Strangers???!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music (just going at random here, k?): Blood Orange, David Bowie, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, Chairlift, Still Corners, Ariel Pink, Elliot Smith, Tame Impala, Kurt Vile, Alex Cameron, Grace Jones, Frank Ocean, and Kendrick Lamar.

Books: Hemingway, Kafka, Whitman, Rumi, Zadie Smith, and the back of cereal boxes.

Movies: Wes Anderson, Hitchcock, Almodovar, etcetera.
Also I like the occasional inspiring documentary.

Shows: the X-Files, Twin Peaks, Love, Freaks and Geeks, the People v. O.J. Simpson, Stranger Things, Jessica Jones, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Six things I could never do without
Coffee, the interwebs, laughter, beauty, kindness, and friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
To be real -- whether I'm the last person in SF that isn't working for tech.
How to unplug from all the tech around me.
How to get more greenery in my life.
Social Justice.
How well I would do in a post apocalyptic world.
On a typical Friday night I am
You should message me if
you want to go out with me. (That's the point of this thing, am I right?)
