My self-summary
Originally from a small town in Connecticut, I've bounced around the country before ending up in San Francisco.
What I’m doing with my life
I had a vague plan after college that I would move to the west coast and get a job in the field of renewable energy... so that's what I did. But I recently realized that I hated that job and quit. Now I'm working in the craft beer industry and am much happier!
I’m really good at
I have excellent knife skills. Give me a big ass cutting board, a nicely weighted chef's knife, and a bunch of veggies and I will julienne the shit out of them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a history buff when it comes to books, currently reading The Killer Angels, a civil war novel. Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil is probably my favorite modern book.

Some of my favorite TV shows are House of Cards, The Wire, Workaholics, Always Sunny, Modern Family, and Breaking Bad. (If you like the Big Bang Theory, that's probably a deal breaker for me.

Soul, Funk, and The Blues are my favorite types of music. Also like some good indie jams. The Revivalists, Saint Motel, Taj Mahal, Galactic, Jungle, and Cage The Elephant are the bands that I'm listening to a lot right now.

I also just inherited a record collection that belonged to my father. He passed away when I was young, so it's a very cathartic experience listening to his albums. He was certainly a Rolling Stones man over The Beatles.

My favorite meal is cornbread and chili, and I love seafood. I'll pretty much eat anything except for almonds, which I have a slight allergy to.
Six things I could never do without
Cast iron skillet
Good beer
Friends who understand sarcasm
Pizza (I could probably do without pizza, but couldn't think of anything else and it seemed like a strong way to close out this list.)
On a typical Friday night I am
I could be playing a nerdy card game, shooting some pool at a bar, or out at a concert. Also possibly at the brewery I work for.
You should message me if
Realistically, I'm the guy so I'll probably message you, but I like girls who don't seem too full of themselves and can appreciate sarcasm.
I'm a sucker for strong conversational skills.
