I recently moved from San Francisco back to my hometown of sunny Los Angeles.
I have returned to pursue music and acting (or what I refer to as entertaining) professionally. I have been singing, writing music, and acting since high-school and have been very fortunate in both the academic and community theatre level realm. However, I have never taken the risk to pursue this passion as a career...until now that is.
Now before you RUN-OFF thinking "dear G-d" not another lost soul seeking fame and fortune, and realizing you are much better off with a guy with realistic goals and a good head on his shoulders...know this...
Although I'll admit to feeling lost sometimes, I am pursuing this goal steadfast, with no delusions of grandeur (though dreams of fame and fortune are always a good drive), and an amazing family giving me support. And in regards to the head upon my shoulders..after multiple years with a stellar career in the field of aeronautics (I worked for two companies making either solar and/or hydrogen-powered airplanes, and electric personal aircraft like the Jetsons - all this after obtaining dual-Master's degrees in engineering from Stanford University) I am certain my "fallback" career can provide a more-than-decent lifestyle, and that I will keep you on your toes with whatever topic you so desire.
I will make you laugh.
I will be a challenge.
And I am looking for someone to challenge me, excite me, and join me in making the most out of the adventure of exploring this crazy orb.
OLD profile -
I'm a musician (vocals, piano, guitar..), an actor, and in the daytime, an aeronautical/mechanical engineer.
I'm a romantic that wants nothing much more than to please the woman I'm with - while being, most likely - one of the funniest people she'll ever know. FYI: I tend to walk the wrong side of the appropriate line most of the time. :)
I'm looking for a woman who I cannot stop thinking about or be without, who makes me smile when we're talking or doing nothing at all.
In addition, I'm taking vocal classes, acting classes, acting accountability workshops, casting director workshops, and diligently attempting to improve and record my music with the goal of releasing my first EP by years-end.
Lastly, not having a full-time job has provided me with the time to focus on my mental, spiritual, and physical self. I have stayed consistent with a developing yoga practice that really got into gear in early 2012, I hike at least 3 times a week (either Boney Mountain, Westlake reservoir, or Malibu Creek State Park), and investing in both chiropractic and massage care when my body is requesting it.

Currently, the lead structural designer/analyst at a start-up developing a personal electric airplane - cool cool stuff!
I spend the rest of my time trying to stay healthy mind (yoga/meditation) and body (backpacking/cycling), and writing songs that I love and feel others may love as well.
Looking at both sides.
Being optimistic (in a pessimistic way :) )
Thinking (which sometimes becomes procrastinating)
Keeping the world on it's toes
(And that is with years of training from my family to take a moment to consider what I'm about to say)
And my smile!
words: douglas adams, shel silverstein, edgar allen poe, tolkien, lewis, popular science, gizmodo.
tv: family guy, house, simpsons, southpark, jon stewart (he can change the world, colbert can just excite it, imo).
ears: pink floyd, the dead, led zep, dave matthews, hendrix, neil young, muse, fun., morning jacket, bieber (jk...thought I'd check to see if you were still reading...btw, I got nothing against Justin, just not my cup-o-tea)...I feel foolish writing this...I love a LOT of fu#%ing music.
eats: I cook at home (and enjoy it!), but can lick some organic granola really well. I'll go out for indian, sushi (both sashimi and rolls), thai, a good steak, mexican (but try to avoid the chips and tortilla), and on, and on, and on...
singing & playing
love-making (it's true...I don't care if it's too forward...if the person I'm with doesn't love making love, then we aren't going to get very far in love)
and last but not least,
my family! (i come from a tight knit family)
- where should I travel next
- where you're at?!
- enjoying a quiet night in to relax from the busy week
- playing music with the old band

hitting an art murmur, playing music, going on motorcycle rides or kickin it with my fam and friends...
I am not seeking perfection, and I don't desire constant happiness.
I good argument is great for the soul, and the little things that bother you/me will be the things we love most.
But I am a romantic, and at the end of the day...when I think of you I want to smile, and when you think of me I want to know you're smiling as well.
