My self-summary
An enigma wrapped in a riddle wrapped in an In-N-Out wrapper.

I've been told I should write a book about my life. Take that however you like.

Not an age or ethnicity fetishist.

I try to be a not-shitty straight white male as much as possible.
What I’m doing with my life
Putting a bird on it.

Navigating the Metaverse. (I work in IT. Not a libertarian or MRA though.)

Trying new things like photography and playing the guitar.

I like to cook stuff ever since I moved to a place with a dishwasher (hashtag lazy)
I’m really good at
Relating almost any life situation to a Simpsons episode (old seasons of course)
Computer junk.
Cooking, love trying out new recipes. I'll make you a bad ass stir-fry. Or a pizza.
Ignoring sage advice.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor & my eyebrows.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I re-watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch again and the songs are stuck in my head.

My first DVD player was purchased to watch an Army of Darkness DVD (that I bought before I had a DVD player).

I loved the "WGN Saturday Afternoon Movie" version of Pulp Fiction. Seriously, it exists. "The one that says bad mother on it" then super zoom-in on Jules' wallet so you can't see the bad word. Why even bother?!

I'm on a Joss Whedon kick as far as TV goes. I'm like 10 years late on Buffy. *UPDATE* Now I've seen Angel as well. Good stuff. And I'm a bit Whedon'd out for a bit.

I have a soft spot for 70s/80s punk bands.

I'm big fan of Salvador Dali paintings and R Crumb drawings.

The last book I read was a biography of Teddy Roosevelt. Yes, a book about a rich white man. It was good, though. *Edit* Reading Seveneves by Neal Stephenson atm.

A couple years ago I took a trip to Boston to see a Dead Milkmen concert. It was totally worth it.

Oh yeah and that Mouth Moods album that just went up. Google it and thank me later.
Six things I could never do without
The Internet.
The Simpsons seasons 2-9
Mechanical keyboard.
Luna the stupid cat.
Nice cookware.
The word 'Meh'.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Do I have toxoplasmosis?
Can I get "frozen" for say 3,000 years or so?

On a typical Friday night I am
As far away from any Wrigleyville bars as possible (exception can be made for Guthrie's).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own a Tiny Tim vinyl record.

I'm a disgraced former member of Team Zissou.
You should message me if
You know a good pizza recipe.

You want to go see a movie at the Music Box.

You want to join me in the audience of Steve Gadlin's Star Makers.

You want to try to find cool records at thrift stores. I found two autographed albums by The Knack at a Salvation Army. Yeah, I know, it's The Knack, but that's still kinda cool, eh? Eh?!? Maybe this limited edition Siouxsie and the Banshees record I found would impress you instead.
The two of us
