My self-summary
Transcendent Trainer. Ephemeral Inquirer. Lucubratory Lover.

I'm an old soul. But I'm also a big goof. I run a little off beat... I'll dress up, dance poorly, do something completely new and uncomfortable, and share my honest opinions with anyone who would seem to display the slightest hint of an inquiry.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm working as a mountain / river guide out of a ranch in Moran, Wyoming. The lifestyle is amazing and I love being outdoors all the time, but it is very difficult to meet new people or create new relationships.

I see myself continuing with mountaineering / search and rescue - and possibly pursuing a position as a Game Warden if I stay in the United States.

I have aspirations to continue school after many mountaineering and EMT training programs for a major in organic chemistry or clinical nutrition. I used to work work full time as a Personal Trainer in the Queen Anne/Magnolia area of Seattle, the occupation molded many habits in me and I have a great appreciation for those who keep themselves strong and pursue the goals they set for themselves.
I’m really good at
Smiling, scowling, laughing, cooking, guitar playing, and all things strength related!
The first things people usually notice about me
A bit of scruff never hurt anybody.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Omnivores Dilemma, Ender's Game, Walden, Tao Te Ching, The Dhammapada, Wendell Barry.

Movies - Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Departures, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Pianist.

Shows - Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Documentaries.

Music - Folk, Classical, Electronic.

Food - I'm an awesome cook.
Six things I could never do without
1. Good Food
2. Soil, Rock, and Ice
3. Wine
4. Books
5. Music
6. Travel
I spend a lot of time thinking about

Food source/quality - This is easily one of the most important things in my life. I sincerely believe that the importance you place on food quality and origin is extremely indicative of how you view your place in the world and the importance you place on the environment. More on that...

General sustainability - Not to be confused with 'eco' or 'green'. Those are marketed concepts that lead no further than supporting your favorite multi national corporation. Self reliance and sacrifice are typically required to have any real value.

Evolution - Or how far we have come from our natural biological state for that matter... why everyone is so sick, and how to make them better.

Travel - Or lack thereof. I'm always attempting to change my circumstance to allow for more or indefinite travel... we'll see.

Heavy Things - This is a bit inescapable... I greatly enjoy my training and it probably takes a little bit more of a priority than it should at times!
On a typical Friday night I am
Social - You may find me out in a pub with friends playing silly games or discussing the latest and greatest in hyperinsulinemia and diabetes research ^_^. I am also not opposed to music or dance classes.

Home Body - Relaxing with a good meal and a bottle of wine... friends optional. I remain fairly docile most of the time as spending the energy and cash to bounce around from venue to venue grows tiring fairly quickly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've read 100's of fantasy books, and am highly attracted to women who can squat @ 200% bodyweight.

I am very shy!
