After 5 years in Japan, I decided to further my education and get my teaching credentials in elementary education. I taught three years at two different schools in Hawaii and decided that teaching wasn't for me.
At this time, I moved up here to the Bay Area and went to culinary school. I started working at Facebook headquarters at the bottom as a prep cook, but have worked up to become a line cook and then a kitchen manager in 3 years. 2 years later, I am now a sous chef!
I like to keep an active lifestyle with exercise and practicing jiujitsu. I am a brown belt in Brazilian jiujitsu and actively compete in tournaments.
