My self-summary
I am 71 but feel more like 37 as I still love to go to festivals, concerts and for motorcycle rides. I was widowed thirteen years ago and have only just recently decided that I want to see what company there is out there.
What I’m doing with my life
AS you see by my photograph I am a local radio presenter and also I am the chairman of a small but national charity that works with teenagers. I was a full time youth officer for thirty eight years.
I am also a committed biker. I have two bikes including my Harley Davidson Chopper and a very stylish Trike. I also spend some of my time as a volunteer at Thorpe Camp Museum which is part of what was RAF Woodhall Spa where the Dambuster squadron (617) spent the rest of the war following the dams raid.
I’m really good at
Social networking, amateur radio, motorcycling, being optimistic and I pride myself that I am a one woman man.
The first things people usually notice about me
My white hair, Been that way since I was 38. However I do have a good head of hair. I am not slim. If I grow a beard I make a pretty good Santa.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some sci-fi books, mainly books on wild life or travel. I love live music and I organise an annual Blues festival with international artists playing to raise monies for charity.
Six things I could never do without
My sense of humour, my honesty, my children, my bike, computer and lastly my friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my timetable is going to be for the next few weeks. My next trip abroad. I am planning a trip next spring (2017). Flying from Manchester to Singapore via Dubai, then after a few days flying to Brisbane where I will meet my Brother and we will be going to a few music festivals, Airs Rock, then onto the West coast of Australia where we hope to swim with Whale Sharks.. On the return leg I will be stopping at Hong Kong and spending time in Macau.

If I am honest I spend time thinking about what a new life friend will be like and how I ought to conduct myself. After all it is a long time since I did any courting.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually at a festival with the charity display that we show to raise funds. Sometimes I am at home relaxing and catching up with emails and facebook. Sometimes I am visiting my kids and my grand kids.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a little frightened of this process. I feel like a little school boy again. That is, starting new relationships is a whole new ball game to me.
You should message me if
You want to exchange a few emails to see how we get on.
