My self-summary
I guess that one could call me EXTROSPECTIVE. Meaning that I process most things by talking them out, and am very social. I have a strong and mutually supportive inner circle of friends that is pretty exclusive, but then there are a ton of people that I consider to be close friends and "fun" friends. I tend to come off a little strong sometimes. I ask hard questions of people when I meet them. I guess I just want to see if you are conscious or just drifting.

I'm great in almost any social situation that does not involve fighting animals the NFL or Nascar. I'm very passionate, especially when it involves creative expression. Yeah yeah yeah, I'm a musician. I play all kinds of things (banjo mandolin guitar, saw, sing etc..) and I'm also a third generation upright bass player. I write music for film and television when I can get the work and lately have been booking acts that sound like they were all born in a gypsy caravan, or dug up from some New Orleans cemetery. I'm a bright and sunny person that remains fascinated with a dark aesthetic. It shows through in my music my photography and even the way I dress. Over the years I have done a little bit of EVERYTHING, but I am most at home in the entertainment industry in general. I run TwinFlame Entertainment which is a collective of techs and talent and currently about ten bands that I connect with a variety of clients (film producers, event managers, directors, bands, venues...). I love being someone that everyone "knows", but also I love when I can hang that up and really get to know someone and let them get to know the more intimate me. Don't get me wrong, my public persona is 100% me - not an act - but I really appreciate someone who has the willingness to listen to my heart and really share their own.

I collect - therefore I am (slightly cluttered). Vinyl, books, movies, instruments, paintings, photos, clothes, jewelery, antiques - I'm addicted to acquirement, but then again - I have the perfect gift for you! I LOVE to shop! But I'm not wealthy, so I love digging about in thrift stores (they know me by name in no less than three Goodwills). From that I have a LOT of really slick clothes and I can dress or even overdress for just about any occasion. it's called living cheap with style, folks. I love clothes shopping and have fun searching for great vintage stuff for me for my friends their kids etc... It's thrifting, so it doesn't really count as a problem. Right?

I love being surrounded by friends, and I'm the kind of friend that people usually keep for life (or at least so far). I've let my heart be broken... too many times...I was really trying to not let that happen again. Then I came to realize that all my attempts to keep myself "safe" were doing nothing more than keeping me far away from opportunity. The "ONE"? Is she out there? Is there such a thing? In spite of all the evidence to the contrary, I still think so.

I'm a single dad, and my daughter is the greatest light my life has ever known. She's a little bit punk, a little bit glam, a little bit enlightened and a little bit attitude. HA! She got to go to Bonnaroo with me and work at the festival for her first job ever. She started playing guitar recently and she's really good! I'm stoked not just because she's following in my footsteps a bit there, but because she needed something besides Freestyle skiing to keep her occupied and out of trouble. Though, I suppose that guitars have led to their own brand of trouble too. My kid is cooler than most people I know. Although, she is, I think, a uniquely old soul, I'm still the grown-up in the picture. She goes to school in Taos New Mexico and putting her on a plane at the end of summer or spring break or christmas etc... is the most depressing thing I ever have to do. I love that kid!

Hmmm...what else? I yawn when I'm nervous or tired. I like the nightlife. I want to boogie. I love me some Obama. I never underestimate the stupidity of the American public, nor the power of stupid people in large numbers. I wish I had... something, but I'm not sure what that would be right now. Maybe lemonade. I think eggs are a much demonized source of protein. I know a blasphemous answer to the age old question "what's black and white and red all over." I want you to leave me your record collection in your will. I can hold my breath for a long time. I can almost always unravel a Slinky. I can laugh just like scooby-doo, and imitate a siren well enough to disturb a marta bus driver. I've got a caterers kitchen, and I'm not afraid to use it. I usually know more about live audio and recording than anyone else in the room. I'm orally fixated, so kiss me so I don't have to Smoke/over eat/overtalk.

I am unexpected, unflinching, and indefinable.
What I’m doing with my life
Creating haunting and beautiful Gypsy-swing/ Southern Gothic music in a hundred-year-old rustic tin-roofed juke joint of a space right next to the old train depot right off the Carrollton square. Developing my talents as a photographer. I'd been art directing shoots for a long time, now I'm doing the click-click more and more. Raising the coolest little (well not-so-little anymore) girl ever! Studying anything I want. Not sitting in traffic too much anymore. Finding my spirit in spite of religion. Looking for HER. Finding this one and that one but not THE one, yet. Reading a book. Looking for a house. I think that my legacy will be one of a life of creation, and opening doors and creating opportunities for others to explore their passions. When I help someone shine, I'm at my proudest.
I’m really good at
Composing the never ending. Making you laugh. Being subtly absurd and irreverent. Keeping the people I love safe. Laughing! Touching! Living out loud! Shopping! Cooking (used to own my own chocolate shoppe in L5P). I have a good eye for setting up a photo shoot, and I've been getting more opportunities to do just that.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice! Height and a very direct stare. Yeah, then there's the whole cute nose issue. I'm a big tall guy who may have a six pack somewhere behind the keg. I like to live large and play large and work hard and Love harder, and you can tell by looking at me.

Running from the paparazzi.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love it when music brings a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat.
Really, I'll tell you anything you want to know. I may not post it all up, but I think that living in integrity (for me at least) means not needing to hide aspects of myself in general.
You should message me if
you are tired of no one being able to look beyond the fact that you are intoxicatingly beautiful.

you are self motivated and responsible.

you are a singer looking for a vaudevillian carney barking madman with which to share a stage.

you are convinced that the fabulous will one day inherit the earth.

you are more comfortable in Value Village than you are in Wal-Mart.

you prefer exposed brick over painted sheetrock.

you want to take me to Greece. or Spain. or Istanbul.

you've been admiring me from afar.

you have two things that you love for every one thing that you hate.

you are not the jealous type. Have faith in yourself and me. I have a great track record.
