My self-summary
I'm Ashley, I live in a nice apartment somewhere in West Seneca with my fiancé, keep the place relatively clean, and try to find excuses to put off doing the dishes (sometimes they work). I'm more of a stay-at-home gal, and not fond of going out to night-clubs or parties, although going out for drinks once in a while is okay. I also hate talking on the phone, and would rather text.

I like to read, play tennis, badminton, racquetball, and volleyball. I also love to sing karaoke, do graphite drawings, paint, hike, go canoeing, watch movies, and go out to eat.

So right now, I'm really looking for some new friends, male and female. Everyone I know seems to either be getting married, having babies, or moving away, and while I treasure the friends I have and realize that those people can never be replaced, I have also realized that there's plenty of room in my heart for new friends. Send me a message, and I'd be happy to get together to chat over coffee or tea!
What I’m doing with my life
Working for the SPCA, working as an RN at ECMC, planning for the future!
I’m really good at
Making friends and making people laugh. I also like to think I can cook a decent meal when I'm in the mood and have more than one person to cook for. It's no fun cooking for only one person.
The first things people usually notice about me
People tell me I have a nice smile. Some people comment on my eyes. Apparently green eyes aren't as common as they used to be :) If you knew me in person, I would say that people usually notice that I'm not shy and when it comes to academia, I'm a loudmouth. I have no problem with walking up to a table full of people and launching into a conversation with them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read, I could never choose a favorite book among them all, but I can name a few favorite authors: Linda Howard, Karen Robards, Suzanne Brockmann, Laurell K Hamilton, J.K. Rowlings, Janet Evanovich, Mary Janice Davidson, Stephanie Meyers... Movies, I love the Jurassic Park series, Sister Act, Beverly Hills Ninja, Avatar, Knight and Day...all sorts of movies. I'm something of a movie buff, and there's not many movies I don't like. As for food, I love Mexican food, Chinese, Thai, and AMERICAN food. Music? Anything and everything.
The six things I could never do without
1) My Family - I'm very close to my family and love them very much. When we all get together it's loud, happy, and crowded.

2) My Pets - 4 mischievous cats and 1 super cool snake that live with me, and 1 hyper dog that lives with my parents, since dogs aren't allowed in my apartment.

3) My books - I can live without the TV or computer, but please don't take away my books! They keep me saaaaaane!

4) My Friends - Another kind of family entirely, and just as necessary in my life.

5) Laughter - I don't know about you, but I'd rather laugh than be grumpy.

6) Music! 'Nuff said.

so it didn't ask for 7 things, but I'm going to put one more thing that I absolutely cannot live without:

7) YOU. You changed my life from the moment we met, and I'm the luckiest woman in the world to be able to call you mine. I don't know what I would do without you, and I hope I never have to find out.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Getting my motorcycle license, my pilots license, learning how to play new instruments, the future...
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my fiancé, playing video games, eating out, whatever we're in the mood for
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't watch gruesome blood and gore movies. I can deal with the aftermath just fine, but actually seeing someone get decapitated or lose some body part in a graphic way isn't my cup of tea. I have to hide my face in a pillow or close my eyes.
You should message me if
1) You've won the lottery and need someone to share it with
2) You can draw a square without any lines
3) You can lick your elbow
5) You noticed that I skipped #4
6) You travel through time and space in a machine called the Tardis
7) You know who the Hero of Canton is
8) You actually read my profile
