My self-summary
I try to fill my life with equal amounts of work and play. I love trying & learning new things whenever possible; the more absurd the better.
What I’m doing with my life
Architect mostly. But 'idle hands are the devil's workshop', so I'm usually all over the road (painting, music, archery, cooking, just about anything that holds my interest).
I’m really good at
Architecture. Cooking. Random things. Accepting dares.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm usually smiling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Ok, highlight reel...
Books: Anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Erik Larson, Mary Roach, or Haruki Murakami. I also like biographies/memoirs.
Movies: Jaws (all time favorite movie), James Bond movies, It's All Gone Pete Tong.
Music: On the way home from work today (at the time of this writing), I listened to Regina Spektor, Leonard Cohen, Jidenna, and a lecture by Carl Sagan. If that sounds like an ideal combination, then we should probably know each other.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order...
Good friends
Family
Good books
Dog
My Sketchbook & a Pen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-Is my dog bored?

-How can I do [insert task at hand] better?

-When are the Sabres gonna get their poop in a group already?

-I had a 45 minute conversation at lunch today with my coworkers (from the VP all the way down to the drafters) about what animals produce milk that is/should be consumed by humans. We came up with the following: Cow, Goat, Camel, Bison, Lama, Yak, Sheep. Did we miss any?
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, in with the dog, painting the town red (with friends or the dog).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I moonlight as a restaurant critic; no not a Yelper, a real one.
You should message me if
You want to do something kinda random with someone kinda random and see if we hit it off. Cat fashion show? Movie marathon? Try curling? It'll probably be absurd, it'll almost definitely be fun, and if nothing else we get a weird story out of it to tell our friends.
