My self-summary
Grew up in Texas, schooled in Minnesota, lived in London, and have called New York home for a little over 6 years. I'm not one of those people who instantly fell in love with NYC, but I do enjoy finding new reasons to stay.

I will try anything twice.

I'm an incurable optimist.

I've never had a broken bone, stitches or a bloody nose. I'm either a badass or just extremely lucky.
What I’m doing with my life
I entertain you. As long as you have cable...
I’m really good at
using proper spelling and punctuation in text messages.
The first things people usually notice about me
Crooked smile. Red hair. Freckles. Curves.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Just finished "The Good Girl" and looking for a new book to read on the train while I listen to whatever music the guy next to me is blasting through his headphones. Suggestions welcome.

Movies: I will see every Marvel film the first few weeks it opens despite the fact that I have never read a comic book in my life, and if there's a British comedy in theaters, I've probably seen it twice.

Shows: Daredevil, Archer, You're the Worst, Better Off Ted, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Black Mirror, Parks and Rec, Spaced, Arrested Development. I can't stomach reality shows, no matter where the Real Housewives are from.

Music: The Kinks, Arctic Monkeys, Nina Simone, Vampire Weekend, and The Shins are all heavily in my rotation these days.

Food: Almost everything from the ocean. Rare Steak. Good Pizza. Bad Pizza. Hot sauce on everything.
The six things I could never do without
WiFi. Corny jokes. Sleeping in. Passport. Books. Headphones.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
where to go for brunch.

I have a serious crush on brunch.
On a typical Friday night I am
dining at a new place. meeting friends in dives for beer and nachos. watching Netflix and drinking wine. swinging kettlebells at the gym. scoring rush tickets to a Broadway show. drinking classic cocktails in dimly lit bars until last call.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to dress up as a giant pinecone for money.
You should message me if
You want to meet me, I guess?

As a birthday present to myself, I'm deleting my profile on August 26th, so-- speak now or forever hold your peace.
