My self-summary
I'm a university graduate, did a Bachelor of Science majoring in Earth Science - that makes me a geologist. I have a rock / mineral collection before anyone asks, but I've yet to go fossicking in any real way. One of the good side-effects of doing a geology degree is that by some mysterious force of nature you become very good at holding your alcohol - it might be the drinking that goes on on the last night of the field trips :p

I'm going to be honest here - I'm a pretty big guy. Fat big, not just tallish. I really need to lose weight, but I just can't seem to find the effort to do so :/

I'm an athiest, but I don't care about others religions. I feel that anyone should be able to worship anyone or anything they want, just don't try and convert me to it. That really gets under my skin- and that's saying alot. It takes a fair bit to get me annoyed at someone, and I like to think I'm fairly easy to get along with... I do feel as though I can be socially awkward at times. It's almost like I jam on what to talk about, especially online, and it feels to me like I come off as boring :(

I like most music, but metal and rock are the genres I associate with the most, but I've started to take a liking to techno / electronic and dubstep-sorta stuff, mainly for the rhythm. I also like samba and folk music. I also heartily enjoy music from video games - not 'generic rock-metal tune #8' from the latest call of doody, more like monster themes from Monster Hunter or various Final Fantasy music. I'm not sure if this or the rock collection makes me more of a nerd, lol.

Movies; sigh. I have a weird taste in movies. I love both really good, and really bad movies. Indiana Jones, Aliens, Bladerunner, Attack The Block, Jurassic Park District 9 Twister, Flying High, Dante's Peak, Volcano, The Day after Tomorrow, 2012 and Indepence Day are among the movies you'll find in my DVD collection.

My favourite TV series include Futurama, pre-season 13 Simpsons, Bones, NCIS, Stargate, Bob's Burgers, Mythbusters, Warehouse 13, M*A*S*H, Good News Week, The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I also like anime, but I don't really watch that much. What I have seen is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Zoids, and half of Lucky Star and A Certain Scientific Railgun / To aru kagaku no Railgun.

I LOVE cooking and eating food, and I have a certificate that says I can cook to the same standard as a second year apprentice chef, but I haven't actually cooked properly in a while. I love chillies. Love them. I grow my own and have a large stock of hot sauce, and I'm always willing to try out something spicy. I love most food, but I especially love mexican food. Not just the hodgepodge tex-mex americanised stuff, the bright, tangy real american stuff. I don't currently have a job because apparently no-one wants to hire a graduate geologist while the country I live in is in a mining boom. Idiots.

I love video games. Mainly RPGs and Shooters, but I also enjoy RTSs occasionally. I have been playing less and less games recently - why I don't know, not because I find them less fun, but it just seems like high quality games are becoming rarer and further inbetween :/

You should talk to me if you want someone who'll listen, someone who'll care, I always try to care. :)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a university graduate, BSc in Earth Sciences.

Yeah thats all well and good but what about my social life you say? I don't really have one but I wish I did :/ I only have my learner's driver's license, no consistant income and no-one ever tells me where things are happening -_-
I’m really good at
Cooking, mineral identification, geology in general, playing video games, guessing fake people, pattern recognition, making mental leaps, growing chillies, spending money on useless stuff
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually? My weight. Pretty hard to not notice. A lot of people seem to like my hair, though.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: 1984, Gileads Blood Music: Metal Food: Pretty much anything
The six things I could never do without
Air. Light. Something to stand on. Pepsi Max. Papercraft. Food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
chemistry, sex, weather, what's around the corner
On a typical Friday night I am
Alone :(
You should message me if
You want someone to talk to, to comfort you if you're feeling down. That's what i'm here for. also a good request filler.
