My self-summary
"We have just lost cabin pressure. " - Fight Club

I'm pretty awesome, I love to laugh, and I like to meet new people. I'm very honest, and I expect that from anyone who's in my life, family, friends, or a potential partner. I love dogs, I'm allergic to cats. I'm currently playing a silly little game on my phone called "Kleptocats" it allows me the ability to have kitties with no adverse reactions. I like good food with good company. I drink occasionally, I'm not opposed to hanging out at a bar, but I prefer quieter places. I'm pretty much an open book you can ask me anything and I'll tell you my truest answer. I don't really like doing math problems, but I do like puzzles. I love music and I like going to concerts. I like playing board games, especially word related ones. I also like to play video games although I am not super good at them. I have been playing Fallout 3 for awhile and also play Fallout New Vegas on an Xbox 360. I love watching movies especially horror films, with a really good story line. Anything with zombies in it is cool, zombie flicks don't need good plot lines because they have zombies in them. I love the mountains, I'm lucky to have a great view from my backyard so I see some fantastic sunsets.

I was told in a past life I was fairy, I believe it. I also think I was a fish or a mermaid previously, I love the water, being in it and around it. I'm a Capricorn and we age in reverse, so the older I get the more playful I've become. I can assure you I was a very serious child, I never ate paste, and I didn't understand why every other kid in my kindergarten class thought it was so good. If I had a giant jar of paste now and a big wooden Popsicle stick, sure I'd give it a try.

I love art in all forms, I'm an art school dropout, but I'm always looking for new ways to be challenged artistically. I have to say also that I love being in my thirties! So much better than my twenties.

Also it's not a problem for the people I date to have children already. I really like kids, however I do not want my own. So if you're hell bent on a woman that you can have little kiddos with, I am not her.

While I believe the mythical creatures known as Unicorns do in fact rule I am not a Unicorn.
What I’m doing with my life
Volunteering and sewing. Trying to figure out where and how I fit into this crazy world. Making my mixed-media art quilts a reality, sketching in my sketchbook. Crafting with friends. Organizing my studio. Looking for meaningful relationships with other people. Trying to make my life the best it can be. Loving my two Norwegian Elkhounds.I make charity quilts, dog and kitty beds, and dolls for less fortunate children. I'm thinking of starting my own non-profit, based on the idea that every child should have a handmade stuffie and blanket. I volunteer because I have to, I've been very blessed to have shelter, family, friends, and warm food in my belly all my life. Therefore I must give back. Writing positive affirmations on the sidewalks with chalk. Cooking and enjoying food with friends. Just enjoying my life as best I can.Trying to figure out what is up with Pharrell's Arby's hat!? There's a little bit of pop culture for ya ;)

I am also looking for a tango partner. I know of lessons on Fridays or Mondays. Please don't reply about tango lessons unless you are really interested and think would be something you would enjoy :)

April-May 2016 Painting pots and watching Ted Talks
I’m really good at
Crafts, lots and lots of crafts. I'm pretty good at talking and listening too. Sewing, crochet, quilting, cooking, loving, friendships, smiling, laughing, seeing the positive in the negative.
The first things people usually notice about me
My friends tell me I'm pretty and I have nice hair...

I have a loud laugh and I'm very animated. I've been told I can be intimidating at first, I don't get it. I guess it's because I can be kinda loud, sarcastic, and have a dry humor. I laugh pretty loud, sometimes I snort, sometimes I sound like a witch, sometimes I sound like George McFly other times just silly giggles. I laugh A LOT! I want to say I'm not crazy person loud. HA! I just enjoy my time with people and I'm not afraid to show it :)

So if you can make it past the first hour of meeting me I soften up a bit ;) I also laugh when I'm nervous, and I'm nervous upon first meeting people.

Six things I could never do without
1. My doggies!!!
I have 2 Norwegian Elkhounds. They are my fur babies. They blow their coats twice a year for six months at a time ;) so myself, my house and my car have dog hair all the time. If you have an aversion to dogs and dog hair I am not the girl for you!

2. Radiohead- The Bends
3. glue sticks
4. something nice to write with I love a good gel pen.
5. a sense of wonder
6. My sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can contribute positively to my community. Is my garden getting the right amount of water to flourish. Dinosaurs. Feeling bad for Pluto. How amazing the Lunar eclipse was. Quilting and when I'm going to get all my quilt projects done. How my dogs have made me a better more compassionate human being. Zombies, vampires, robots, mermaids, UNOICORNS, glitter, shoes and ships and sealing wax, cabbages and kings.Baking the ultimate gluten free cupcake. The whole Triceratops debacle. How I spend too much time thinking about thinking. Wondering if there's someone out there that compliments me, and my quirky ways. Why are the majority of the questions on here so stupid, and why do I keep answering them? Also I don't believe anyone can complete another person. You have to be complete already, in order to give the best of yourself, in any relationship, friends, romantic partners, strangers you meet on the street.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, making something or laying on the couch with my two dogs, reading, watching movies, making new dinner selections with my vegan friend. Watching Tim Minchin's "If I didn't have you" video over and over again, thinking about how preposterous the idea of fate is, but still waiting for the perfect lad to sweep me off my feet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I played World of Warcraft pretty hard-core for about 3 years. I was a lead officer in my guild O.o! Also I love Shakira.
You should message me if
If your a nice person and you want to have meaningful conversations with another human being.
You want to hang out and enjoy talking and watching movies, you think you can handle a precocious goofball.

You're 420 friendly. You want to make seed bombs. You have a creative project in mind but need help fleshing out how to do it (I'm great at .brainstorming
You like to just sit and be in the present moment, and you know that feels good.
