My self-summary
SF -->Boston -->DC--> LA-->SF

Local who made his way back after moving around the country for education and work. I'm loving the sunshine, awesome food/music scene and easy access to SF, Tahoe and the Sierra Nevadas. I'm always hunting down the perfect cup of coffee or glass of wine.
What I’m doing with my life
Living it. Constantly exploring, growing and enjoying new experiences.

I am a scientist, freelance consultant and entrepreneur. Definitely a polymath. During the week I work on a PhD over at Berkeley (Bioengineering with minor/concentration in business), advise area biotech startups, and am building a small company of my own (more to come soon...).

On the weekends I hunt out live music, the perfect dish or a mountain to climb. I'm an ambivert (introspective extrovert), so a weekend also isn't complete without some family and friend time.
I’m really good at
I am an amazing cook... seriously. I make Gordon Ramsay cry from shame.
The first things people usually notice about me
Great eyes, big ridiculous laugh, an encyclopedic knowledge of useless facts (if you tell me something useful, I promise I'll probably forget it).
Sometimes my friends refer to me as Encyclopedia Patricka (hint, hint... my name is Patrick).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: Seafood and fresh local produce. Does Malbec count as food?

Games: Cards Against Humanity

Music: Jesse Cooke, Priyo, Marcio Faraco, Classical, EDM, etc.

Reading: Chaucer, Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, NY Times, News of the Weird
Six things I could never do without
Family and Friends
The Outdoors
Good Conversation
Personal Fitness
Good Food
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm the Connect Four Grand Champion. I played against myself and won... two years in row.

I've got a great butt.

One of these two things is true.
You should message me if
You're awesome. I've found that the best relationships are based on a strong friendship and, at their core, have a foundation in partnership, mutual growth and open communication.

It also doesn't hurt if you're smart, driven, witty/playful, warm, inquisitive and can deliver a healthy dose of sass to complement my sarcastic one liners (challenge thrown).

If you love getting outdoors (hiking, skiing, scuba diving, rock climbing, kayaking, camping), exploring new places, trying new foods and coffee/wine... major bonus points.

Don't be shy. I don't bite on the first date.
