Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, A Song of Ice and Fire, World War Z. I'm not a big book reader -- more of a Wikipedia reader.

Movies: So many. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (original trilogy), Indiana Jones (lets pretend the 4th movie never existed), Garden State, Love Actually, Anchorman, Supertroopers, Die Hard, Highlander, Shaun of the Dead, Superbad, Office Space, Animal House, Blues Brothers, Stripes, Dark Knight, The Incredibles, Gremlins, Old School, Big Lebowski, James Bond movies, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, the list goes on and on.

Shows: Let's get the nerdgasm out of the way -- Star Trek: TNG, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, The Guild, Firefly, Babylon 5, Buffy, Angel, Smallville, Flash, Arrow, S.H.I.E.L.D, 90's X-Men cartoon, Highlander, Doctor Who, Fringe, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist. Also -- House, The Office, Scrubs, Coupling, Californication, Dexter, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, Entourage, Chuck, Justified, Mythbusters, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, How I Met Your Mother, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones

Music: Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Okkervil River, Decemberists, Weezer, She and Him, Feist, Tenacious D, Flight of the Conchords, Modest Mouse, Journey, Beatles, Queen, Meatloaf, The Shins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings of Leon, Johnny Cash, Cake, The Raconteurs, virtually everything except terrible modern country.

Food: I'll eat most anything. I love spicy food. Chinese and Thai food are fantastic. Mexican and Italian aren't too shabby either. I'm not sure I'd ever get tired of a nice steak and baked potato dinner. The only common food I don't really like (although I tolerate) are mushrooms.
The six things I could never do without
1. Glasses/Contacts -- I'm quite blind without.
2. The internets -- specifically google, wikipedia, reddit.
3. Sustenance -- food, water, air, etc.
4. Electricity
5. Toilet paper -- seriously, imagine the alternatives
6. Computer/Smartphone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going to travel next! Also, the universe (wish i could boldly go), history, what the future will be like, and how I'll survive when the dead rise.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either hanging out at a pub with friends, playing trivia somewhere, or at home binging some netflix after a long week.
