My self-summary
I'm looking for friends who want to go on actual adventures. Think, building your own damn boat out of duct tape and sailing it into the sunset kind of adventures (next trip planned for June) or pick-up beach capture the flag (date TBD)!

Let me know if you have any cool ideas you've always wanted to try!

Also open to dating but uh... let's be real. Girls are scary.
What I’m doing with my life
I traded programming lessons for fitness lessons so office jock is learning to program while I get buff(er).
I’m really good at
Cooking: I like good food and I like being able to eat it on a budget.
Rock climbing/ Other outdoorsy activities: Being inside all the time turns me into a hermit
Trying new things: I once went skydiving because I wanted to know if I'd be afraid of jumping out of the plane.
Being decisive: Ever had a time where you and your date/friends/SO didn't know what to do? It won't happen with me.
The first things people usually notice about me
A warm welcome. I'm not a shy guy and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'll always give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're going to be one of the most amazing people I've ever met. Prove me right.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Although lately, I've been reading a number of nonfiction books, I also love curling up with a novel. I love the fantastical medieval worlds and my favorite series that I read in the past year was the "Night Angel Trilogy" by Brent Weeks.

When watching movies/shows, I actually prefer turning my brain off and having a good laugh over the usual thinker movies. "Rick and Morty" is always a riot!

As for food, I love going on an adventure. I'll try almost anything but I look specifically for styles I can't make at home, high quality ingredients or food cooked through techniques I don't recognize.

Drinks? I'm an Old Fashioned kind of guy. I like to sip a hard poison to warm my throat and light a fire in my belly.
The six things I could never do without
A sense of humor, a thirst for adventure, a full belly, my lucky belt, a job and good company
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The word "bed" actually looks like a bed.
On a typical Friday night I am
Finding a new restaurant to try with a couple of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I only made it through 83 of the "333 Ways to Get Kicked Out of Walmart" before being removed from the premises. Some employees don't like being hit by makeshift light sabers. Who knew?

There's a video hiding somewhere of myself giving a motivational speech in full spartan regalia before a big chemistry final
You should message me if
You want to meet up occasionally to explore the OC/ LA area to see what we can see and do what we can do.
