My self-summary
Well, lets see. I recently graduated from George Mason and am a former Boy Scout. I studied English but also greatly like History and Art. I've been to most of the Museums in D.C. many times. I wright and read quite a bit though mostly just for fun and nothing serious. I love movies and have a very, very large collection of DVDs. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music and only watch TV Shows occasionally.

In general I like to make people laugh and help friends with problems. I have several dogs and love animals. I volunteer part time at a local Animal shelter and lend my hand to other volunteer activities from time to time. I don't smoke and don't drink very often. I'm a pretty laid back person most of the time, always ready to lend an ear or a hand whenever needed.

I'm also told I make a pretty good tour guide.

I am funny, informative, and helpful
What I’m doing with my life
I just graduated from George Mason and am now taking it relatively easy for a while as I look for work. I like technical writing and am very good at explaining things most of the time. I would like to someday put that skill to use in the workplace.

In my private time I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching movies and enjoying various hobbies.
I’m really good at
Well a few things, I type very quickly and accurately, I can sew (someone had to sew on my Scout patches), cook, paint and know my way around various power tools. I greatly enjoy problem solving and the occasional puzzle. I also have a good deal of experience with outdoor activities like hiking, camping and so on.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hat, ever since my days in the Scouts I've often worn a boonie hat with the sides curled up. After a while it sort of became a habbit, I've never run into anyone else who does so and it makes me pretty easy to spot in a crowd.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Chinese food and barbecue, odd combination I know but still.

I like a variety of music, mostly dependent on individual songs over artists, bands or even genres.

Movies... I have a ton, a few of my favorites are: The Great Race, The History of the World Part One, Serenity, Conan the Barbarian, Young Frankenstein, Clue, Road Warrior, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, My Cousin Vinny, Escape From LA, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, just to name a few. I like comedies in particular but overall enjoy a variety of things of all ages. The Great Race was released in the mid 1960s and is over twice as old as I am, but never ceases to be funny.

TV Shows, well I don't watch that much TV these days but do enjoy Burn Notice, Castle, Royal Pains and White Collar.

Books, well Lord of the Rings and other Tolkien things are up there, other than that I don't read a lot of more serious stuff but generally stick to simple Sci-Fi and Fantasy works.
Six things I could never do without
Hard to say really, as long as I have food, water and preferably a book I'm good.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How my dog could possibly shed so much, whether the Chicken or the Egg came first, and whether Breadfruit is bread or fruit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most of the time I'm sitting in-front of my computer writing or reading, or watching a movie on the couch with my dogs. Every now and then I'll be out with my brother or friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Nothing creeps me out more than spiders, absolutely nothing.
You should message me if
You like a guy who is smart, funny and dependable.
