My self-summary

You are about to read the profile of a good guy. That does not mean that I'm boring, quite the opposite. It does mean that I am thoughtful, communicative, happy, easy going, intelligent, interesting, and I know how to compromise. I've seen many profiles wherein women ask if there are any good guys left. Well, there are! If you're not sure about me, or are on the "fence," contact me. There's little to lose and potentially a lot to gain.

I moved to Chicago two years ago and thought that it would be easy to meet intelligent women who were looking for a good relationship. Surprisingly, it has been much more difficult than I expected. If you are looking for a short term relationship (or hook up), I'm not interested. REALLY! If you are into drama, or have some type of relationship phobia, I'm not interested. REALLY! If you like to play games and are passive aggressive, I'm not interested. REALLY!

If you are looking for a stable man (not boy), with a great career, who is romantic and affectionate, who does not live with his parents, or a bunch of his frat brothers (or even worse his ex!), then let me know. If you have not found the right guy yet, remember the old saying - "The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result." Let's chat. I know that YOU are out there. Come find me!
What I’m doing with my life
I have extensive travel/tourism and attractions experience. I am working in an executive position at one of the leading museums in Chicago.
I’m really good at
Problem solving and coming up with solutions that work. I am also loyal, fun, and a good listener and friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is that I have a quick smile, I am interesting and that I am an enthusiastic person.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Tough question! I have read hundreds of books (28 in 2014 alone). For business the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, the Malcolm Gladwell books, Freakonomics and many more. The Power of Now is a good one to help you enjoy life more. Jane Austin is great. In the Sci-Fi/Fantasy world, the Ender's Game series and A Song of Ice and Fire are outstanding. Also, The Lies of Locke Lamora and The awarded Man. Not quite in the same league, but fun were the Hunger Games and Twilight books.

My taste in music is pretty eclectic, but I tend to gravitate to classic rock like the Beatles, Rolling Stones and the old crooners like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, but I also love Bruno Marz, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons and others.

As for food, there are too many to mention in a city like Chicago. As a foodie, here are a few highlights, Classic Italian-Il Vicinato; Cuban-90 Mile Cafe; Indian- Tandoor; brunch-Shaw's Crab House; burgers- Butcher and the Burger.
Six things I could never do without
My family
My Yorkie, Teddy
Passionate friends
Great food
Great books
Life long learning
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to improve myself and help my family and friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing, exploring, dining...You'll have to join me to find out what this Friday will bring!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ok, it's true. I've been known to watch The Batchelor.
You should message me if
There's something very special about you. You are curious about
the world around you. You can take a joke and are not easily
offended. You believe that sarcasm is a spice of life. You can spell
(without using spell check), and are generally happy. You want to
see the world and travel, love to kiss, you cuddle like a cat on the
sofa, and shag like a tiger in bed. You are thin, athletic, (curvy in the right places is a plus), your eyes are bright and convey the depth of your spirit. You are beautiful inside and out, and you think you can actually keep up with me. The rest is negotiable. (well, you can’t be a blood relative)
