My self-summary
My friends and I are like little old ladies for the most part - quiet, crafty, and light drinkers.
I only go out to bars to do karaoke.
My favorite THC delivery system is gummy edibles.
I like romantic comedies.
I have a pretty severe tea addiction.
I'm a substitute teacher.
My certification is in high school and middle school education.
I'm a sex positive feminist - but my personal preferences are pretty vanilla.
What I’m doing with my life
I think, for once, that I can actually say I'm achieving some modicum of success (in the educational field that I am about to step into).
I’m really good at
You tell me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am apparently able-bodied.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Grimm's Fairy Tales, Ancient Greek novels, Mr and Mrs Smith, Chocolate (both the one with Johnny Depp and the Martial arts flick), Tony Jaa, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li movies, Music that makes you dance, weird music that no one in their right mind would listen to (see: youtube videos), Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Once Upon a Time, White Collar, 30 Rock, Community (I love Hulu... that sums it up well...)
I love food.
The six things I could never do without
Food, tea, friends, my crazy mom, technology, literature.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stuff. And things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably not out, but maybe.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a somewhat militant SJW. I thought I was just an armchair activist, but anyone who doesn't talk social justice with some level of eloquence is someone who I will eventually clash with at some point. Sorry. :(
You should message me if
You're cool. Please try to start a conversation. I don't like having to sift through all of the people who just say "what's up", but seriously...
Also, please be kind if I decide not to meet you. Even if I were single, I would not be obligated to "give you a chance" just because I enjoyed a conversation with you. I have plenty of options for how to spend my time, and wasting time on my phone is one of those options. I would appreciate that these choices are respected and that you do not insult me because I was not interested in getting off my fat ass to get dressed up for a a date with someone I'm not absolutely excited to meet.
It should be obvious, also, but if you're an "old fashioned" person or a "gentleman", we can chat, but we are bound to have a massive level of ideological incompatibility.
