My self-summary
A sea-man who never joined a navy, thorn between the urge to sail the world and the love for Lisbon that keeps me anchored in.

I'm good-natured, far too curious for my mind's sake and positively negative! Or negatively positive? One of those, I'm sure.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to help the country and myself by specializing in Law of the Sea while remaining sane through these crazy times.
I’m really good at
Spotting the small interesting things in life everyone else seems to miss. Then becoming weirdly fascinated by them.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm good natured, have an easy laughter, and got too carried away talking that one subject they asked about...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh where to start? Everything good old Eça de Queiroz put to paper, most stuff by crazy H.P. Lovecraft, recently been devouring G.R.R. Martin's Grim Fantasy soap operas. Alternate History is a guilty pleasure and any decent historical novel will make me happy.

As for Food, my favourites are the ones I haven't tried yet. You know the guy who always scouts the restaurant menu for something he never even heard of? That would be me.

The only Shows I bother following are The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Paraíso, Game of Thrones and The Borgia

Films? Where to start? From Dr. Strangelove to The Watchmen, from The Big Lebowsky to The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, from Cidade de Deus to Todo Sobre Mi Madre, from Juno to Aruitemo Aruitemo my taste is wide in genre and language.

Same goes for Music, but with a distinct preference for Classical Music, especially [Medieval]] and Renaissance. Then again the band I own most CD's of is Placebo and my favourite soundtrack that of the GTA Vice City games (80's music) so you can see I like several different stuff. Lately I've been especially enjoying Folk stuff, especially Portuguese Music that maintains ties to it's origins.
Six things I could never do without
Being close to the Sea
Smartphone (yes I know they're evil)
Something to read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to measure my life by.
On a typical Friday night I am
At some local quiet bar chatting with friends - you too? What a coincidence!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
5 years in female-heavy Law School left me with an acute taste for gossip - but don't tell anyone!
You should message me if
- You want someone to visit museums/landmarks/boring concerts with.
- You want someone to explore Lisbon (or thereabouts) with.
- You have the time and patience to put up with too long conversations in winebars or delicious awkward silences by the Sea.
