Ok where to start; well firstly I’m having a great summer, just great! Yep… well I’m always open to trying out new experience's, any new activities; so for instance, I got inspired into poetry by Polar Bear the poet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUCwJq_wHZA). He gave a fantastic talk back in May, really nice bloke, with a real handle on his craft. He showed how easy it is to express one-self through poetry. So I’ve been doing a bit of that recently. I’ve also began to get involved with making short films with the 24h Dublin Film Society, and that’s a lot of fun (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywTDNyooWHk), very interesting stuff. Aside from that, I’m doing some volunteer work, mostly helping to teach music to kids with my mum at schools and various places.
So that’s the stuff on the side I’m doing, but my main focus is on Music, and I do hope to teach it someday very soon, I’m due to sit my T&H Senior Certificate in December. My music instrument is the violin, and I try to get some practises in daily.
And just to round off, my family consisted of, 3 brothers, two older and one younger, 4 dogs, and 7 cats, 4 of which are newly born kittens, and 2 currently live with me and my brother up here in Dublin.
So that’s that, you’re either still reading or gone, but if you’re not gone, then read on and figure out what interesting mysteries lie ahead :)
I like good films and wont watch badly made ones. Dark and depressing films make my head think to much, or just depress me, I don’t need that i.e. Requiem for a Dream, which totally freaked the shit out of me.
Seinfeld, Father Ted, Curb, The Wire, Mad Men, Game of Thrones (everyone likes that though right?), The Sopranos, Rome, The Universe, World War Documentaries, any Documentaries that have something I can learn from. I know there's more...if you’re still reading, then my plan is clearly working.
Food wise, I like the classics, but hate mushrooms, (unless there magic, in which case I’ll force them down), anything with meat, curries, lasagne, salads…
As for music, Classical, Traditional Irish, Arcade Fire, S.t Etteine, Little Dragon, 2many Dj's, Daft Punk, Robbie Robertson, Bat for Lashes, Luke Kelly, Kristina Train, Cristy Moore, Rap stuff, Dance music, Jazz, just to name a few, oh and the Jools Holland show, which provides all of the above apart from dance music, but that's understandable, or is it?
Family & dogs, my 3 legged dog Mojo,
