My self-summary
[Update May 7, 2014: The more I think about it. I'm a bit complex. I haven't been in a relationship so long. It's natural to get lonely. But, I like having some alone time. Would someone be able to understand that? I'm can be such an introvert. However, there are times I need to get out and be social. I love the energy of a crowd.]

I'm an awkward nerdy guy looking for a wonderful dorky girl. Looking for someone to hang with, go to hip hop and rock shows. Go to art shows. Go to the bookstore. Talk and have lunch, dinner, and a chai tea.

Corpus Christi born and raised. And, yes, I do love my city and the people in it. I believe in romance and taking the time to get to know someone. I love hanging out with my friends. Talking and laughing. Just so you know, my friends are woven into the fabric of who I am. I love to read and learn. Watch movies and TV. I love watching and playing basketball. I also like watching football. Been watching UFC for years. I'm a spiritual person that has no need for organized religion. I enjoy meditation and long spiritual discussions. I also enjoy going to local concerts and art shows. So, as much as I like going out, I am comfortable being a home body, too.

I'm looking for the same in someone. A woman that is down to earth and easy to get along with. Enjoys technology and keeps up with current events.
What I’m doing with my life
For 2016, I'm growing and maintaining my computer repair business. I've also gotten back in blogging. Although I am finding it hard to find my voice. I've also gotten into gaming and streaming. I'm working on a getting a better system for content development.

I'm also staying active. Trying to eat better. I've hit a plateau with losing weight.
I’m really good at
Making my friends laugh. Listening. Building relationships. Teaching and communicating. Eating and watching tv. Doing research on the internet. I'm getting better at running and meditating. Fixing computers. Giving 5 stars to profiles on here that look to be filled with genuine information. Even though we may not be a match.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm nice and easy to talk to. My passion. People open up to me easily. [I never use it against them.]
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love Music... Period. But, before I go on, I need to let you know that when I go to any concert, I truly enjoy being as close to the stage as possible and rock out. I don't need the help of drinks or drugs to get high. All I need is an awesome show and crowd to bliss out. And, I love sharing that experience with loved ones.

My favorite band right now is The Bright Light Social Hour. They're a rock band out of Austin. And, I love them. Me and my friends go to their shows every time they come down here. We rock out like we're at the biggest concert. [Note: If you ever go to one of their shows, please have Detroit memorized. I'm usually screaming the lyrics with my friends.]

And, yes, all this happens in Corpus Christi, Texas. :)

Michael Jackson was my idol as a kid. I still love him, his music, and his shows.

I Love Flyleaf.

I love Deftones.

Here's a short list of artists/bands I love:

The six things I could never do without
God
Friends
Good Food
A good pair of running shoes
Basketball
Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Now [Being in the present.] How to become a better person. How the Universe works. Being Happy. Developing better habits.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends. Go to a show. Fire up the PS4/Xbox One and join some friends for online gaming. Stream on Twitch. And/or make it a Netflix night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
[Update 2016: I've been feeling so much better these days. Being active and meditating routinely has really helped out a lot. I've been making some good breakthroughs.]

I've been dealing with an anxiety condition for the past six years. Its something I don't really talk about. But, I have to be honest on here. Why turn an ant hill into a mountain?

It prevents me from traveling. Which is the worst. I love to travel. There are times I don't like driving at night.

I've been feeling good lately. Going out and being social like I used to. As much as it can be a curse, I've also seen it as a huge blessing. I truly appreciate life and love. I enjoy the small things. Stress and worry are a waste of time. I don't expect anyone to understand. Only people that cope or have overcome anxiety can do that.

I know this is a deal breaker as far as relationships go. But, I'm always down for a chat and making new friends.
You should message me if
You're down to earth, love to flirt, want to be friends, you're a night owl, love to go up to the front of the stage at a concert and jam out, play basketball, go for a run, want to be more than friends, and/or enjoy having great conversations about everything.

Most importantly, you're a good person. I need a good, amazing woman in my life.
