My self-summary
I'm a geek ENFP (if you don't know it, look it up) who loves to travel. I'm currently working as a freelance writer and a professional orator, going to various bars and improv clubs and telling improv high fantasy stories (think if someone read Tolkien aloud to you while they had a band in the background reacting to it. Its a lot of fun!)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on heading to graduate school for Old Norse Lit in England. Maybe in Denmark. I dunno. All I know is that learning two languages and a whole slew of history in a short period is very hard, and I am very tired.

I really, really, want to play D&D. Please let me be a bard. I promise not to try to seduce the final boss.
I’m really good at
Hells bells, a lot of stuff! I tend to get bored easily, so I've picked up a lot of bits and pieces of skills over the years. Like saber fencing (yes, this translates to LARPing and AMTgard).

I'd honestly really like to get back into rock climbing. I had a lot of fun doing it, but could never find a consistent group of people to go to the rock gym with.
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually the hair. Its really blond, and now that I'm growing it out again for charity its getting long and curly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm really big on classical literature. I could go on and on about how Aristotle's "Metaphysics" is just amazing for world building when I'm working on creative projects. I also really like fantasy literature; if you haven't read (or in my case listened to the stunning audiobook) "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, do yourself a favor and go do that now, or ask to borrow it from me. Its really, really good!

As far as TV and movies go, I just don't have the attention span to care about most of either. I do watch a lot of cartoons though, like Rick & Morty and Steven Universe (two diametrically different shows really). I've been trying to get back into anime, but having just finished Erased I don't see myself being able to get engrossed in anything else for awhile.

I love music! All shapes and forms, though less so on country (I'll still listen to it, but its not really my cup of tea). My favorite genres though are glitch, chiptune, and electro swing. Never heard of those? Don't google them! Most of what you'll find right off the bat is garbage, but the indie scenes for them are beyond incredible! I'll send you a mountain of links if you want, and you'll be jamming in no time.
The six things I could never do without
- My puppy, Isabelle
- My collection of paraphernalia picked up along my travels
- The Stetson my mother got me as a gag gift (love that hat way too much)
- My bow
- And the number 5 (I'm not being cheeky. Ask me about it, haha)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The function of passion outside of a driving force in people. Self-evaluation; trying to better oneself. Elves. Mostly elves.

Also, I'm a feminist; fight the fight that needs fighting, yo.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my friends or wandering the night, enjoying the sweet scent of cedar on the wind. Or abstaining from sleep cause I came up with a good story idea. Mostly that second one.
You should message me if
You liked something in my profile. I will say that if you just visit my profile a couple times in the hopes that I'll message you first, I won't. I'm waaaaay too thick to pick up on that haha. You're more than welcome to IM me though.
