My self-summary
So: restart number 6 on writing this. Hopefully this time it sounds good.

I'm looking for a man, but I'm not desperate (no more desperate than anyone else on a dating site, I suppose). I've been alone for awhile, and I'm somewhat of a romantic, which is, at times, problematic. I'd like a good man. I'm not just looking for a roll in the hay--I can get that on several different sites on the internet. I want something more (How original!). Not that a good roll in the hay isn't good, but that's not why I'm here.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a published author of both erotic and non erotic fiction. That's what takes up the majority of my life: work work work.
I’m really good at
Well, writing, I would hope. I also sing and, although I'm somewhat rusty, was one of the top youth trombone players in the state. I also practice photography and, when I can, work on my belly dancing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know for certain. If I had to guess, it would be my hair or my eyes, since everyone seems to comment on them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Cyberiad, Harry Potter, The Looking Glass Wars, His Dark Materials, This Perfect Day

Movies: RENT, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, It's Kind of a Funny Story, and anything by Robert Rodriguez

Shows: Face-Off, Firefly, Frasier, The Golden Girls

Music: SJ Tucker, P!nk, Amanda Palmer, most Filk, Folk, and a good bit of Orchestral and Symphonic music

Food: Italian. Clear cut, hands down, Italian food.
Six things I could never do without
I'm assuming this isn't the spot to put 'food, water, shelter, human contact, heat, and cleanliness?'

I would say, given the actual basics of survival were taken care of:
A copy of The Cyberiad
A trombone...just to pass the time
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Writing. It's an in-depth career choice. Beyond that, I think about plans for non-work-related events. Planning and orchestrating those.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home, surfing the internet or writing, occasionally drawing. Only rarely do I have actual 'plans' on Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have very fragile self-esteem. I used to have nearly none, and my self-confidence has only grown into anything worth mentioning in the past year or so.
You should message me if
You're interested, or you think I would be interested in you.
