My self-summary
I'm a person who lives at a place where I do stuff and occasionally things with people at times.

Or, to elaborate a little bit, my name's Nathan and I'm a college student. I do bits and pieces of a lot of things but for the most part, I'm still very much in the process of figuring out what I'm all about. I like to do a little gaming, I read a lot, I'm a huge cinephile, and I try to keep informed about and involved in current political issues, particularly those concerning the LGBT community.
What I’m doing with my life
I study physics and I only hate it some of the time. Or most of the time. I'm also majoring in Spanish, but that's really just a minor that got too full of itself. Right now I feel like I want to go into research or academia, but that's pretty subject to change.
I’m really good at
math, I guess. Math is cool, right? That's what comes naturally to me, mainly. I also do a fair bit of singing, mostly choral stuff.

Other talents include shoving my foot in my mouth, saying stupid things at stupid times, and clumsy self-deprecating humor.
The first things people usually notice about me
I like wearing v-neck sweaters with ties. Also, I have red hair now and that's pretty new for me. So, probably those two things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh, let's see. As far as books go, I really like Tolkien stuff and A Song of Ice and Fire. I used to be more into that sort of high-fantasy stuff but these days it's mostly just those. But I read a fair bit of nonfiction as well, and I just finished Ryan Sallans' book Second Son. Oh, also, Kurt Vonnegut is a literary god.

I'm a huge Tarantino fan, but I love all kinds of movies. Seriously, all kinds. All of them. Except for some. I've been watching a lot of Always Sunny in Philadelphia and X-Files lately. I really loved Arrested Development, Spaced, and more or less every Star Trek.

I have pretty broad musical tastes but one thing I always come back to classic rock--David Bowie is probably my all-time favorite artist and his new album kicks ass. Zeppelin, obviously. Rush, Jethro Tull. I also love a bunch of stuff from the 90s like Nirvana, Pixies, Soundgarden, Talking Heads. Ooh, and Jack White is one talented son of a bitch.

Pizza is grand, and anything that lived in the ocean before somebody killed it and put it on a plate.
Six things I could never do without
Food, water, oxygen, sleep, habitable environmental conditions, and oxford commas.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
things that I'm not doing at the moment. Focus isn't always a strong point for me. And whether I should change my major to linguistics or something else liberal-artsy like that.
On a typical Friday night I am
either sequestered away in my room playing video games like a hopeless recluse or out with my friends. I like to go to the hookah bar a fair bit, and I'm certainly not averse to the occasional drunken game of Cards Against Humanity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Um...I'm pansexual and polyamorous? That's not really that private, I'll pretty much start talking about that at the drop of a hat.
You should message me if
you feel like it. Or if you're bored and want to talk to a stranger. Or you're the second coming of Jesus and nobody believes you. Or if you want to huff spraypaint and go throw rocks at trains.
