I love to celebrate, anything and everything. It doesn't have to be an expensive celebration, but it's wonderful to have those events to look forward to. I would love to celebrate with my partner.
I recently started a new job, and I can't believe how lucky I was. A headhunter sent me to meet with a gentleman about my dream job, and I just knew, the way you know about a good melon. The minute I saw him, I knew that my interview would be perfect, and that I would love working for my boss. He certainly doesn't ever disappoint.
Travel is wonderful. I was a sociology major, so I love meeting others. Anywhere is fun for me. Most people are amazing, and it's so nice to get out and meet new people, people who are different in any way. It's so interesting just to hear the way others think about life. I have learned so much from people I've met. I'm so grateful.
Enough about me....You want to make my life better as much as I want to make yours better. You aren't dying to get married tomorrow, but you know that life can be more fun when you share it with someone else. You enjoy sharing your experiences, and would like to tell me about your day, and hear about mine.
Please write and tell me what you love about your life, and what you don't love for that matter. It's the only way we'll ever know.
Recently older movies are my preferred genre...there's something more real about them.
Love to read just about anything, depending on the day and my mood. I'm currently reading:
The Republic of Plato...taking my time with it. It's a bit of a challenge.
The Art of War...helpful strategies that can be applied anywhere.
Enough...written by a local author, a friend and brilliant man.
Art - I worked for an Old Masters Art Dealer, so I absolutely love museums. Being surrounded by all that beautiful art was amazing. One of my favorite paintings, by Amigoni, was Helen of Troy. A little spendy for me, I think Michael Douglas bought it.
Other things include: IPhone, laptop, things left to me by my great aunt and grandmother, a comfortable home, a fireplace at the moment, and an iPad on which I read. Yes, am an Apple person.
Please message me if you'd like to spend time telling me about yourself over coffee/a drink, or while wandering through a museum, or listening to live (though perhaps quiet) music.
