My self-summary
Hi, I am Evan. I am a math nerd who loves to play video games, read comics (mostly manga and web comics), and playing D&D. I am really into sci-fi kinds of things. I like to thinks that extraterrestrial beings do exist out there but we just don't have any proof yet.

Anyways, I am a huge gamer. I play video games pretty much every chance I get. When I should be studying I am usually playing video games. I tend to go over and beyond in my video games and in my math. I tend to become famous in a community that they don't even know my real name. I practically live online, be it chat rooms with my friends, an MMO, or something like Xbox Live.

I really wish I was more into the American Comic scene but I am not really. I know of and sparsely read some Marvel comics and I am not really a fan of the DC works, except for Batman. Now manga is a different story. I try my best to follow and keep up to date is 10 to 15 different mangas at a time. I really enjoy Hunter x Hunter and mangas like Future Diary and Doubt.

Being a very logically minded person I really enjoy puzzles. I like thinks like Soduko a lot. I don't mind a jigsaw puzzle or two but puzzle video games are the best! I love Portal to death!

I guess what I am trying to say is that I am a massive nerd and it kinda steers people away from me so I have been much of a loner my life. I have more online friends than I do real life friends and I dont really care what people think about that.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am a college student studying Mathematics and the lead technician at a computer repair store. I have no idea what I am going to do when I graduate, maybe try and become an actuary.
I’m really good at
Math, video games, fixing computers
The first things people usually notice about me
Most people comment on how my hair looks... It supposedly looks very feminine which drove me to grow a goatee so people would stop calling me ma'am. If I am called ma'am or miss from behind I take it a a complement, if they say it to my face I take it as an insult. I also wear a tie almost every day and I like to think that is one of the first things people notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book: A Christmas Carol, Ender's Game

Mangas: Anything by Yoshihiro Togashi, he is the Author of Yu Yu Hakusho, Level E, and Hunter X Hunter. (whenever I get a notification that a new Hunter X Hunter is out I must stop what I am doing to read it... I LOVE HUNTER X HUNTER!)

Movie: Shawshank Redemption, Stargate, The Fifth Element, Donnie Darko, The Nightmare Before Christmas, anything Directed by Tim Burton, and almost any thriller, I don't really like horrors

Shows: The Twilight Zone, Almost any Sitcom (Big Bang Theory, Friends, How I Met Your Mother) or Sci-Fi (Eureka, Alphas, Warehouse 13, Farscape, any Stargate)

Music: I don't listen to much music but I like Alternative and Indie

Food: I love seafood and all oriental foods I have tried. Japanese is amazing!

I am adding video games to this list because I care about them more than most this other stuff.

Video Games: I am a huge fan of the Fire Emblem series and the Castlevania series. My favorite game of all time is a tie between Fire Emblem (AKA Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken) and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I miss the days of pixel characters and two dimensional playing fields. I play pretty much anything sitting in front of me but I am usually on a completion spree where I want to 100% a game so bad that I don't play anything else. I have recently become one of the top players of Dawn Of The Dragons MMO on Kongregate so a lot of my time goes into that. I just recently picked up Dark Souls again, if things go well I might try and pick up Demons Souls again. I know that is backwards, but Dark Souls is easier.
The six things I could never do without
1. My Brain
2. Caffeine
3. My Laptop
4. Video Games
5. Manga
6. The Internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The best ways to power level in games and what would be my next best move in this Turn-Based Strategy. Math problems I cannot solve. I have stayed up all night many times when I got stuck on a problem.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting in my room on my laptop while playing video games (normally Dawn Of The Dragons since it updates at noon PST every Friday). Or helping friends with their theoretical mathematics course.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have an unhealthy obsession with the Fire Emblem series and anything that the video game development company Bethesda does. I pre-ordered the new Fire Emblem game for the 3DS before I owned a 3DS and actually planned on owning the game before I got a 3DS...
