My self-summary
Oh gosh, the hard stuff right away. I've typed out as an INTP, and it seems fair. I'm a shy sort, and value my solitary time, but i love being able to share adventures with someone. Said adventures range from the binge watching of a tv show (let it be known, i give great binge watch), to a road trip to the far off lands of, oh, let's say Montana. I'm too often tempted to default on staying home and reading, but the right partner makes most any fantastical notion seem doable, desirable, and a synonym of inevitable that starts with D.

I'm also right-handed.

And I'm typing this on my phone, and every instance of a lowercase i sitting on its own is bugging me something fierce. I only keep them there for the sake of this paragraph, which i am finding increasingly charming. If you agree, i recommend skipping to the favorite books and such section, i think i really shine.
What I’m doing with my life
The thrilling world of low-level accounting. Coffee shop writing. I'm very almost near-certainly going to put in more school time for one of those areas (one day, I'll be writing in a bistro, by jove) but for now I'm paying down my debts and doing my best to enjoy myself.
I’m really good at
Excel, and excel-related activities
Rubiks Cube
Trivia (update! Recently won several hundred dollars worth of prizes in a very lovely trivia night. So I'm kind of a big deal)
Thumb War
The first things people usually notice about me
Super Cool Glasses

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Michael Chabon, Grant Morrison, Dave Eggers, Neal Stephenson, Jonathan Hickman, Kieron Gillen, Nabokov, Jane Austen, Breaking Bad, the wire, the Simpsons, Bob's burgers, mad men, doctor who, community, the Beatles, moves directed by Ben Stiller, a million trillion, other things and my absolute favorite thing in all of time and space, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. English doesn't seem capable of expressing how much I love the transformative, emotional, brain-quaking power of Story, but it's all I've got. If we meet, and i seem to be slipping into a shyness cloud, ask me about capital-s Story and you'll find me at my most charming, enthusiastic and fulfilled.

I also like Friends, for lighter times.

You should message me if
You want to talk to someone who is smart, nerdy and who gently mocks the necessarily ridiculous idea of a dating profile being able to express who I am to someone else. And especially if you appreciate the joke structure used in the six things section.
