My self-summary
I'm Wes. Born and raised in the Whitby area, but well-traveled. I make a good Caesar and a better iced coffee.

Quiet days and good times with good friends. Movies, campfires, summer weather, and trips to the lake.
What I’m doing with my life
Was a machinist, but quit to pursue a health care career. I'm now studying to be a biomedical technologist and maintain/repair medical equipment.
I’m really good at
-Finding products to buy via customer reviews
-Never buying these products
-Fixing things
-Picking things to order off of long menus
-Skipping songs in my own library, but not deleting those songs
The first things people usually notice about me
I've never really asked. It was my hair, I guess. It was shoulder length, and fairly curly. I just asked a friend, and she said it was my eyes. So I'm going with that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Abhorsen, Flowers for Algernon, Of Mice and Men, Oryx and Crake (all-time favourite), The Dirt Eaters, The Poisoner's Handbook, some biographies, and a ton more.

Movies: The Prestige, Forrest Gump, Inglourious Basterds, Pan's Labyrinth, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I am Legend, The Silence of the Lambs, the Nolan Batman movies, Hellboy, John Wick, and so many more that I'm forgetting.

Shows: I used to watch a lot of cable tv, but now it's pretty much down to Netflix stuff. I've never watched Game of Thrones or Mad Men, but I'd be down to check them out. Big fan of That 70's Show, Community, Breaking Bad. Also a lover of Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, and Stranger Things.

Music: Aerosmith, Guns n' Roses, Run DMC, Cage the Elephant, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Heart. Love most classic rock.

Food: I love Vietnamese food, and I was lucky to go to school in a fairly Vietnamese area. Good coffee is key to a good day. For the most part, I'll eat anything.
Six things I could never do without
1. The Internet- not being tapped in to all the information and convenience would be a drag. I could survive, but I'd need new hobbies.
2. Aaahhhhh
3. My dog- he's a pretty cool guy.
4. Coffee- life without coffee would be sleepy and boring.
5. School, or work- I'd get bored pretty fast without purpose.
6. Conversation- while I often get pretty sick of them, my brain melts if I don't have people to chat with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being an adult. What I want to do after school, finding employment, and school itself. Girls, of course. Being single sucks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sleeping after a week of work? At a movie with friends? A bar? Loafing on the internet? I don't really have a "typical Friday."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no idea how to meet people publicly. Do people just walk up to each other and try to become friends? It's some kind of mystery.

Also, I'll answer any question you ask. As long as it's not about my SIN number or credit cards.
You should message me if
-You think we'd get along
-You're bored, or just looking to chat
-You live anywhere nearby
-You don't know what a machinist is, and you're intrigued by the mystery
